To You, Whom I Have Called!

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Lord I love you so much.

Lord: Good morning son. Welcome to the club this morning and thank you for joining us as we walked. We love you too.

To those whom I am calling to be Shepherds of my people, I would say this: Take the charge I have given you very seriously, for my sheep are everything to me, and I want them all to be safe. Treat them with love and respect, and teach them all that I am teaching you. Do not let your teaching and preaching become cluttered with rules and regulations that do not come from me. As you trust in me, show them how to trust. As you listen to my voice, teach them how to hear me. As you bless them, teach them how to bless others. Avoid divisions, and work for harmony and peace, that the world may see one church, and be drawn to me through you.

To those I am calling to be Evangelists and Preachers, I would say this: Go to those I send you, and share with them the Gospel of my Son Jesus, as it has been faithfully passed down from generation to generation. The Gospel is about people, and sin, and how I have dealt with sin. It is about repentance and salvation. It is a gospel of joy, for it brings salvation, liberation and freedom. It is the greatest message anyone has ever been charged to deliver. I have placed a very great value on its safe delivery. Therefore see to it, that those to whom I send you receive the good news. You are not responsible for what they do with the good news when you deliver it, only for the delivery. My Holy Spirit is already at work, in the hearts of those to whom I send you, preparing their hearts, to receive the message you deliver. Therefore speak with boldness, in Love. Do not dilute the words I give you, but deliver them as I give them to you. I know what I am doing!

To those I am calling to be Prophets, I would say this: Your charge is a very difficult one, for the prophet is rarely welcome in his own home town. Cover yourself in prayer and seek me at all times. As I give you the words, deliver them as I command you. If it is a word of encouragement be sure to follow it through with instruction, and guide people to one of my pastors, who can nourish them and lead them on. If it is a word of rebuke, deliver it in love not anger. Be bold and say only what I give you, no more and no less. Let the Holy Spirit do the rest.

To those I am calling to Intercession, I would say this: Yours is a powerful ministry that few see, but everyone feels. Prayer is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. When you pray, you tap into the creative power that flows from my throne. Revelation calls it the river of life. Through prayer, lives can be transformed, bodies can be healed, souls can be saved, and situations can be reclaimed and redeemed. Every servant of mine working in the front line of the gospel, every pastor and shepherd in charge of my flocks, every prophet speaking my words before men, needs the full-time backing of my intercessors. You are charged with supporting them in you prayers and being ready, day or night, to cover them in prayer. Many times in the front line they experience dangers, both spiritual and physical. That is when I wake up my intercessors, and move them to pray. To them you are like a life-line, enabling them to draw from the river of life the extra strength they need. I would that you keep a journal of those times I call you to intercede. Note the time and date, and the circumstances. This will be an encouragement to you, and to them, as I show you how, when they needed extra help, you acted in prayer!

Children, whatever the ministry to which I have called you, and there are many more I haven't mentioned today, be steadfast and joyful. Your part in the great plan of mine, is of equal importance to me, even when it is a quiet, often hidden task, that few know about. Remember, every army on the move has a supply train, people who order supplies, who cook the food, who man the radio, who service the vehicles, who push paper around an office. They may seem unimportant to those on the front line, but they are essential to the outcome of the battle. So it is with my army, and the battle against sin, the world, and the devil. Every ministry and calling is important, therefore do all things with vigour and joy.

Let the light of my relationship with you, and you with me, shine out from you, and be an inspiration to all those around you. Pray together, sing together and work together. Build my Kingdom on Earth, as I show you how. I love you!

Turn your Eyes upon Jesus

I want my church to stay focused in the days ahead. Keep your eyes upon Jesus and do not be distracted by the politics and other issues, which divert my people from the course I have chosen for them. The Good News is all about Jesus, and the way He alone has made, to bring men back to me. Pray for those who I am disturbing, for as they turn to me they will need others to guide them and help them on to my path. I am calling my church to be strong and very courageous in the days ahead. Strong in the knowledge of My truth. Courageous in the proclamation of the truth.

Be there to receive those whom I am calling into my church. Many who come to you will be from extreme backgrounds. Some have never received love in any form and are bitter and hurt. Others have been badly let down by those they trusted. Some have led a sheltered, privileged life, but are now finding that lifestyle unsatisfying and unrewarding. Most of these loved ones are becoming very aware of their sin, and of sin around them. They do not need condemnation or reproach; they need to find my love for them, and the pathway Jesus has made to full and perfect forgiveness. It is not the work of my church to convict the world of sin; that is the work of My Spirit. It is the work of the church to gather in the lost and bring them to Jesus. Young and old together, male and female, black and white, regardless of their background, previous religion or lack of it, these are all my children and I love them.

At this time I am raising up those with energy and vitality to take up positions in the front line. These are young men and women who will be fearless in going where others fear to go. They need prayer backup all the time. That is why I am even now giving new zeal to those who are less active and even house bound. A zeal to pray and intercede, a zeal to fast and praise. This support ministry is as vital as the front line workers. Find out who I am raising up for both ministries and join them together. Let those in the front line know that others are praying for them and encourage them to share their needs so the prayer can be real and grounded, and the supply lines open at all times. Let the prayer warriors be aware of names and needs, and of family circumstances. Yes, let them be praying also for wives, husbands and children, for if one is attacked or under pressure, the whole family feels the attack or pressure.

Do not be afraid to bring to me any concern in prayer. Nothing is too small to escape my notice and nothing is too big for me to handle. I know all the needs before you ask, but I want you to ask, for in your asking great power is released and great faith is generated, as my people see me work and feel involved. The time of playing around is past you are now entering into the serious business of the Kingdom. Serious does not mean boring or joyless. On the contrary. Serious mean the part of the work which makes a difference. Watching me at work brings great joy, and being involved is fulfilling and time consuming, but there is no better way to spend your time. Keep your eyes upon Jesus and your ears open to My word. Keep the prayer flowing and the supply lines open, and enjoy the advance. I love you.

Lord: ..... Now, to other things:

There are those in my church who I am calling out, into the unknown, to take the gospel to those outside of established 'church' and 'normal' worship. I want you whom I call, to clothe yourselves with the Gospel of Peace. Find brothers and sisters, who will pray for you daily, as you labour in the harvest field. Do not be distracted by the ignorant, who will wag their fingers and say, "Why do you work on your own? Come in and be under authority." I say to you, "You are to be under my authority, and you are to speak my words without let or hindrance. Keep fellowship, and stay backed by prayer, but I shall be your authority, not man."

To my prayer warriors I say this. I am sending you the people I have called out, to reach those outside the city wall. They are strong men and women, who seem to the world to be working on their own. They are not on their own, they work with me, and I guide them. I want you to cover them in prayer and protect their backs, especially as they turn their backs on the enemy, to carry the wounded back to my shelter. Your work in prayer is essential to the success of this vital work.

Me: As the Lord spoke to me, I saw with my inner eye, a Church building, and a great sound of praise and worship was coming from it. As I entered the building I saw what looked like a mighty electricity generator, running at full power, and the noise was very great. And the Lord said to me:

Lord: This is what I want my church to be, a mighty power generator. When my church PRAYS, the generator turns, and when my people turn to praise and prayer, the power they produce, increases. An electricity generator, producing power, is useless, unless the power is connected and directed, where it can be used. I do not want this power to be produced, only to store in some decaying battery. I want this power connected live, to those who are working in the mission field, to those on the streets, and in the places where the need is.

Some of my labourers are working far away from the established church, and are therefore, not seen or understood by the church. I therefore want you to establish for me, sub stations of power, connected to the main generator, but a step nearer to those working further away. Keep the power flowing from the church, to you, and from you to those I identify for you. I want every worker in the fields, to be covered and supported by prayer, and to have access to the power of those praying for them.

To church leaders and administrators, I would say this: Be careful what you build! You are moving into revival times. I am no longer interested in maintaining the 'status quo', but in moving the church into the front line of revival. The days of creating systems, and building buildings are passed. The days of wasting my resources on ancient ruins is over! I want my church to be reaching out to, and working in, the mission field, where the hungry people are. I did not build my church for itself; I built it to be a tool, to reach out and deliver the gospel, in both word and deed. Notice how the gifts of My Holy Spirit are for 'Word' and 'Action'. They were not given for the church to hold on to, but, to speak forth, and to act upon. They were given, to be given away!

The time has come, when I shall remove my blessing from those I have entrusted the Gospel, if they will not move out from their holy huddles, and share the Word with others. I had to make the early church very uncomfortable, to get them to move out of Jerusalem. I did it, in order that, you in the West, could receive the Word. Do I now have to make you feel uncomfortable, so that you will move out, and spread the good news? Move now, and you will find yourself working alongside others, who are not from your colour or flavour of Christianity, but allow your colours to blend and I will make a work of beauty and exquisite delight, to excite the taste buds! Do not get left behind.

My Church, the body of Jesus Christ on earth, needs have no fear for the future. If you allow Jesus His rightful place on the throne at the centre of your being, and remain faithful in prayer, praise and worship, then I will take you singing and dancing into the future. Be still in me, then be active in the world. I am with you.
