Stand Together

Me: Lord, as I read the Old Testament I find it quite depressing, reading about king after king who did evil in your sight, and the whole nation suffering for it. It was such a joy to read this morning (2 Chronicles 13-14) of Abijah and then his son Asa, both of whom served you whole heartedly. It was good to see how you blessed them and the nation so much. It's a shame Lord, the good kings seem so few and far between!

Lord: Yes son, it is always a delight to me when anyone serves me whole- heartedly for the one thing I love to do is bless. I do not delight at all in causing individuals or nations to fall or suffer. My delight at all times, is to pour out My blessings from My limitless store. I do this freely and in extravagant abundance.

Sadly, I know the ways of mankind, and I observe with tears how generation after generation turns away from Me to follow the ways of sin. However in every generation there is a remnant who love Me, and serve Me whole-heartedly. It is through this remnant I work. I speak not only of Israel, but of all the nations on Earth. Yes, every nation on Earth has its remnant, its handful of believers, who worship Me in Spirit and in truth. I am raising up this remnant in your day. In the days ahead you will see those I am raising up, as they begin to make an impression on a world which has largely rejected My love.

I have commanded you to pray for leaders and the places of power and influence in the land. Continue in this work. But now I want you to add to that flow of prayer power, individuals who have held on to the truth, often standing alone. As you pray for them and hold them before me, fan the gentle wind of the Holy Spirit into your prayers for them, that the fire and light in their souls will be quickened. They need encouragement, they need fellowship, they need love. Most of all they need to know they do not stand alone. They will know they do not stand alone, as others stand with them. Stand firm in the gospel, hold on to the truth of My Word, tell your faith story to others and encourage an open sharing of testimony. For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10).

Open a blog devoted to testimonies and stories that tell of My working in people's lives. Let anyone send them to you, perhaps with a photo of themselves, and give Me the glory. I want more people to hear the stories of faith, and turn to Me.

Testimony to Jesus - Spirit of Prophecy

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new and beautiful day.  I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son, welcome to the club this morning. Thank you for walking with us and sharing your heart. We love you too.

When prophets are faithful to the word I give them and proclaim it boldly, it has far reaching effect, far beyond anything they ever dreamed of! For example, my servant Isaiah was one of the most faithful men of his day. The word I gave him to speak was not an easy word, and not always well received. He spoke words into the NOW situation, words that applied to the people who actually physically heard him deliver them, but that same word has spoken with great power to other people throughout the generations.

Sometimes words are spoken which apply to a later time. for example his prophecies that relate to Jesus. The disciples and the early church rejoiced as they say the fulfilment of these prophecies, for it encouraged them to believe and go through all the persecution and suffering they had to endure. Those same words still speak to many with the same power, to encourage and build up, as they had in the first century. That is because my Word is everlasting and stands forever. It was spoken outside of time, in the Heavenly Realm. Therefore it is heard and full of meaning in every generation.

The proclamation of Jesus through the gospels is prophetic. It is my word spoken for all eternity. Your testimony to the salvation Jesus has given you, is prophecy and is spoken in the halls of my throne room! St. John wrote in Revelation chapter 19 verse 10:

And he (the angel) said unto me, ....worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. KJV

Do not be afraid then to speak the word I give you, or be slow to share your story (testimony), for as the words fall from your lips they take up wings like an eagle and rise into the heavens. Not only are they heard on Earth, touching the hearts of those around you, but they are heard in Heaven, and recorded with your name in the Lamb's book of life.

The book of Revelation also tells how the word of God is like a sharp sword coming out of your mouth, that will cut closer than a razor to divide bone from marrow. This sword is not just a figure of speech; it is very real. Use the Sword of the Spirit to cut down the briar and brambles, the evil one has caused to grow up around my children. Cut a pathway of truth through the wall and set my people free. My word never returns to me void! When St Paul said that all should seek after the 'higher gifts (prophecy) It was because he rightly saw that my call to all believers is that they should all be bold and share their story with others, and be numbered with the prophets who give testimony to My Son Jesus.

My prophets do not need any qualifications or letters after their names. My prophets do not need to be well spoken, or able to stand before thousands and speak eloquently. My prophets have a story to tell and are those who are ready to share their story. It may be with individuals, or it may be in small groups or it may be before great crowds or even before kings and princes. Wherever you share the testimony of Jesus, your words are honoured and will not return to you void.

As Isaiah called the prophets to go up mountains and on to the rooftops and shout the Word of God, so I am calling all my people to proclaim boldly their true story of Jesus in their lives, that others may hear and turn to Him and find life.

When I spoke the Word in creation, all things came into being.
When you speak of Jesus, new life is breathed into your hearers.

Recording My Words

Me: Good morning Lord, Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for the rain that waters the earth and fills up the lakes and rivers, watering the dry and parched land. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that flows like a river and waters your people with the spiritual water of life. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning Martin. Thank you for joining us this morning and for our time together. We love you too.

Martin, I want you to start typing and let the flow take over. Up to now I have started talking and you have typed away a few sentences behind me, but now I want you to enter into flow, and type as I give you the words. It may not seem much of a difference to you, but it helps, because your intellect doesn't get in the way so much.

It is very much the desire of my heart that more people should communicate with me in this manner. It's not so much what you say to me, but what I say to you. I want my people to be aware of my voice and what I am saying to them, not just in the 'now', but for always. I don't waste my words. Every word I utter is food for the creation, honey to the lips and water to the parched. When I give a vision or a dream, it takes some thinking about to fully appreciate what I am saying to you. So also, with the words I speak to my Church. For centuries the Church has pondered and thought about my word in the Gospels and applied that word for each generation. Sometimes the Church has been so engrossed in theological discussion, it has missed my word for that specific generation. I want you to do both: to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest the written work in the Bible, and also to listen, note and record the spoken word I give you. Then let those who read later also reflect upon what I say.

When the word I give applies to an individual or a group or even generally, I will quicken the heart of the reader and speak to them through that word. Often you have found that a word I give you doesn't seem to mean much to you, but you later find it really speaks to someone else. That is because, as I said before, no word of mine is wasted. And every Word I speak is for the Now, somewhere.

Recording My words is a ministry in itself. Let the record of My words be readily available, and encourage others who hear and record my words to share them openly.

I also speak loudly through actions. The testimony of My working in people's lives is a powerful witness. Which is why I want my Church to be real about sharing your story. All men love a story, and a five minute testimony is worth an hour's theological teaching, because it is already applied to life. Even if you think your story is not worth telling, it is worth the telling, because to someone who hears it, it will be a light on a dark pathway, and a means of them finding Grace.

For you Martin, seek out these real life stories, and encourage the owner to share them through the published word. Let all the world see that I am at work in the lives of ordinary men, women and children, healing, blessing and saving them. This is My work and is worth the telling. I love you.
