Stand Together

Me: Lord, as I read the Old Testament I find it quite depressing, reading about king after king who did evil in your sight, and the whole nation suffering for it. It was such a joy to read this morning (2 Chronicles 13-14) of Abijah and then his son Asa, both of whom served you whole heartedly. It was good to see how you blessed them and the nation so much. It's a shame Lord, the good kings seem so few and far between!

Lord: Yes son, it is always a delight to me when anyone serves me whole- heartedly for the one thing I love to do is bless. I do not delight at all in causing individuals or nations to fall or suffer. My delight at all times, is to pour out My blessings from My limitless store. I do this freely and in extravagant abundance.

Sadly, I know the ways of mankind, and I observe with tears how generation after generation turns away from Me to follow the ways of sin. However in every generation there is a remnant who love Me, and serve Me whole-heartedly. It is through this remnant I work. I speak not only of Israel, but of all the nations on Earth. Yes, every nation on Earth has its remnant, its handful of believers, who worship Me in Spirit and in truth. I am raising up this remnant in your day. In the days ahead you will see those I am raising up, as they begin to make an impression on a world which has largely rejected My love.

I have commanded you to pray for leaders and the places of power and influence in the land. Continue in this work. But now I want you to add to that flow of prayer power, individuals who have held on to the truth, often standing alone. As you pray for them and hold them before me, fan the gentle wind of the Holy Spirit into your prayers for them, that the fire and light in their souls will be quickened. They need encouragement, they need fellowship, they need love. Most of all they need to know they do not stand alone. They will know they do not stand alone, as others stand with them. Stand firm in the gospel, hold on to the truth of My Word, tell your faith story to others and encourage an open sharing of testimony. For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10).

Open a blog devoted to testimonies and stories that tell of My working in people's lives. Let anyone send them to you, perhaps with a photo of themselves, and give Me the glory. I want more people to hear the stories of faith, and turn to Me.

A Church On The Move

Lord: Since the foundation of the Earth I have established a place of sanctuary for my children. The first sanctuary was a garden I planted in the East, a place called Eden. It was there, in the beauty and tranquillity of the garden, that I walked and talked with the man I had made. It was there in the Garden that I presented him with the woman to be a companion and helper in the work I was providing for the man. They worked together and learned together. Everything they had they shared together. Eden was the nursery I created to give the man and the woman the foundation they needed, before I sent them out into the wider Earth.

It was because of sin, that I had to send the man and the woman out from the Garden before they were fully prepared. Many men and women have, down the centuries, pondered and puzzled about why I sent them forth from the Garden over so "small" a crime, suggesting I was being petty and small-minded. The reason man finds it petty and small-minded is because he lives in sin. His sin is always with him, and the more man lives in sin the more used to sin he gets and the less grievous the sin appears in his own eyes.

Committing a sin is always hard the first time. This is because I have placed in the heart of man a sense of what is right. When evil thoughts and intentions enter the mind of man, I warn him. Some call it conscience, but it is actually Me speaking directly to the heart. Because of the precious gift I have given of free-will, man has the ability to shut out my voice and make a choice, using only his own reason, or even to make a choice without reason! Once he has done this a few times it becomes easier and he begins to slide down the slippery slope. As My voice becomes fainter through being constantly shut out, sin becomes less ominous. When man walked in the light, sin was like a totally black hole. As you enter the hole and leave the light behind, the blackness appears less black and the darkness less deep. It is then the light that becomes frightening.

The deeper into the darkness man travels, the harder it is to get out, and the fainter the memory of of the light, until there comes a point when it is impossible for man to return to the light on his own. He may want to, he may even remember a little what it was like, but the thought of what he has done and how far he has sunk, becomes a barrier in itself. This is why I have made another sanctuary. This new sanctuary is the Cross of Jesus. The Cross of Jesus is planted firmly in the sin of man. Its foundations go deep into the darkness of man's heart. In fact it goes so deep, that there is no depth that a man may sink that is beyond the reach of the Cross.

Now, while the foot of the Cross reaches into the darkness of sin, the top of the Cross reaches into the heights of Heaven. How is this possible? It is possible because, although Jesus was born of a woman and therefore man, and fully human, he was conceived in My heart, and it was by the power of My Spirit that Mary conceived and bore Him. He was, and is without sin, and therefore died, not for his own sin, but for the sin of all mankind. He freely chose to die, and pay the full price of sin, for one reason only, and  that reason was LOVE.

Man is not able to turn around and make his own way back to the light. He needs help, and the only help available is Me. His fellow man cannot help, for he is equally as lost in the dark. Satan, the cause of his sin, won't help him. His intention is that man should die, wallowing in his own sin. Only I can help him, because only I am Light, and only I love him.

The Cross deals with the sin, and reaches into the depths. As Jesus died and carried man's sins into the depths, He punched a doorway into the darkness, allowing the light of His love to shine into the depths and become a beacon for man to come to. Through the Cross, and only through the Cross, the Church is able with Jesus, to reach out to the fallen and help them back into the light. There is no other way, because there is no-one that loves mankind except Me. The Cross has become the new Eden. Once firmly in the Cross of Jesus, sinful man can shed his garments of sin and be clothed in the righteousness of Jesus. Then and only then, can he begin the ascent, out of darkness and into the light.

The ascent through the Cross is a cleansing and learning experience. At first the stain of sin clings to man, but as he walks the walk, the blood flowing from Jesus' side washes away the stain. The Christian walk is that climb. It is not accomplished through human effort; it is another gift I have given man, a gift which brings him right up to the very gate of Heaven. My desire is for every man, woman and child to come to the Cross, and find in Jesus the way out of darkness and back into my glorious light.

So I say to My Church, return to the Cross of Jesus. Put your trust in Him and not in your own cleverness! Take a firm hold on the Cross and allow the blood of Jesus to wash you. Stand firm in the Word I have spoken to you and have presented to you in the Bible, and return to Me, for I am about to spew out of my mouth those who have become lukewarm.

Encourage the and help the faint-hearted, bind up the wounds of those who have fallen. Leave behind the structures and rituals that have bound you to the present darkness, and become a Church on the move! Move with Jesus towards the gate of Heaven. You know the way, it is the way of the Cross. Bring with you all who will come, and lead them to Me, for I would that My house shall be full. I love you.

Return to Me

Lord: If my Church is to have any impact in the world today they must return to some basic principles. The first is to accept that I am God, and return to me.

When I gave the children of Israel the 10 commandments, the first one was :

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

It saddens me so much that many who claim to be Christians, and have positions of trust within the church, do not believe that I am God. With their lips they say, yes, but with their actions they say, no!

Every day the second commandment is broken from dawn till dusk :

You shall not make for yourself any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: You shall not bow down yourself to them, or serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, and showing mercy to thousands of them that love Me and keep My commandments.

In the 21st century world, there are so many gods which get in the way, and so often are placed in a place of honour in man's heart, and have become to him, more important than Me! These gods range from articles made by human hands, such as TV's, computers, cars and houses, to ideologies, fantasies, and addictions. Other human beings are often revered like gods, such as film stars, models, politicians and sportsmen and women. The worship of these other gods, is backed by a massive human invention called the popular media. For those with a weak will, the media, and the power of advertising is an almost irresistible force, which claims the lives and freedom of many thousands, especially young people, every day.

And that's only two out of ten! The second principle that My Church must return to, is an acceptance of the Bible as My true and unchangeable Word.

The scriptures in their entirety were given to the Church as their authority. Being my word, the Bible is your authenticating document, your royal commission, your qualification. My word will gain you access to places normally unreachable. But not if you yourself do not accept its authority and truth. I have not made it hard to accept it as authentic. Every day its truth is lived out and proved by countess individuals in a life-changing way. No other document has that effect on men and women of every culture across the world. No other book has stood the test of time remaining unchanged and true, and as relevant today as it was for the first Christians. No other book reveals Jesus, My beloved Son to mankind.

The third, but by no means the least, basic principle, is to place Jesus in the centre of the Gospel. In the last few years in Western Christendom, Jesus has been pushed out of the centre and replaced by statements of belief, some of which don't even mention His name! Generations are growing up who only know the name of Jesus as a swear word.

The third commandment clearly states that :

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.

Jesus, My beloved Son, bears My name, as all sons bear the names of their fathers. When you dishonour Him, you dishonour Me! If seekers are not being introduced to Jesus by the church, The church is not My Church any more. Jesus' command or commission to his disciples was to :

Go into all the world, and make disciples of all men everywhere.

A Church that looks only in on itself will crumble and die. I have given you a wonderful Gospel, good news for all men everywhere. It's all about Jesus, and it hold all the answers for all the problems of mankind.

Return to Me, and let Me set you free. I love you.

What have I done for you?

Lord: Open your hearts to all that I am doing for you. Open your hearts to the beauty I surround you with. Open your hearts and lift your praises, for I am excited by all that I have made, and I want you to be as excited as I am.

Children, do not suppress the praise that wells up with in you as you recognise the work of My hands. Your praise is a natural expression of your delight, and I long to hear your voices join the praises of those who are already praising me in Heaven.

Every day I hear my people asking Me, what they have to praise me for? As if I have never given them anything of value! What do you have to praise Me for? Everything! Yes, everything! There is nothing that you see, hear, enjoy or experience, that does not come from Me. I am the Lord your Provider. Your life and existence is My precious gift to you. When I breathed life into you and made you in My image, I set you apart from, and above, all the animals and creatures of the Earth. I made you able to reason and experience, to observe and to learn. I made to to know and love me, as I love you. I made you to be company for me throughout all eternity.

Even when mankind fell from the special relationship I had with him from the beginning of creation, I have gone to amazing lengths to provide a way for you to return to me and through My beloved Son, Jesus, I have lifted you from the pit of total despair and sentence of eternal death, to the promise of abundant life with us. And man still asks, what have I done for you that I should praise you?

Every morning I cause the sun to rise and warm the Earth. I send the rain to water the ground. I swell the seed, and set the blossom. I provide food for you to eat and clothes for you to wear. I have given you family and friends. I reach out and touch you each day, with My love. Yet, still you ask Me, "What have you done for me, that I should praise you?"

When you turn away from Me and look only at the darkness that is you own shadow, you will sense the utter cold and loneliness of separation from Me. It was this darkness and separation that Jesus experienced, when He took your sin away and carried it to Hell. He did that in order that you might not have to experience that intense loneliness, that complete separation from Me, that death! Turn back to Me and live! Gaze into My brightness and come into My presence and know that you are loved by Me and need never be alone again. Let you heart fill with praise as you realise just how much I love you, what I have done for you, and how I sustain and uphold you every single moment of every single day. Open you heart and your mouth as you lift your voices in praise, and experience with the angels and all the Heavenly hosts, the nearer presence of My great home in Heaven. I love you. Oh, I love you.

Use the Senses I have given You

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this beautiful day. Thank you for being able to see the sun rise over the horizon and for the beauty of that fantastic light show. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for your company. I painted the sky specially for you this morning. No two sunrises are ever the same, and as with a rainbow, no two people see it in exactly the same way. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did too.

As you took delight in the rising sun, so I want you to take delight in all I have made for you. Let the little things of every day bring a sparkle to your eyes, and look less at the big disappointments. Throughout history mankind has endeavoured to look beyond the limit of his eyesight. He seeks to gain knowledge by looking through the microscope and the telescope. In every discipline of study and learning he looks for what he cannot see! This approach certainly does stretch the mind, and increase understanding, but not in every field. In the area of literature, for example, looking too deeply at a text, as though it has a hidden code or meaning, is to ignore the original intention of the writer.

Looking for the unseen can become an obsession, and those who indulge in such a practice can lose touch with reality and not see the obvious. The same is true of speech and language. Let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no. Listen to what is said, and dare to take it at face value. Read what is written, and take it that the author intended you to understand plainly what he/she has written.

Look at Creation through the eyes I have given you, and wonder at what you see. Listen to the sounds around you and learn to recognise them and understand what each one means. As you learn to interpret what you see, hear, smell and read, the world in which you live becomes an exciting place with plenty to learn and understand. As your understanding grows, you will learn to recognise the stamp I have placed on everything I have made. It is like a trade mark. When you have learned to recognise My mark, then you will realise the best one to ask about anything in Creation, is the maker: That's Me! Then I can direct your use of the microscope and telescope, and your investigation into patterns and form. As I direct you in these fields I will keep bringing you back to the world you live in and sense with all your senses. You cannot live in the world of microbes, or beyond the stars. I have made this Earth for your enjoyment and learning, and there is plenty to keep you occupied here.

In relationships with others, remember that every man, woman and child on this Earth today, is your brother and sister. Yes, you are directly related to everyone on Earth. That means you have a good reason to bless them in every way you can. Laugh with your brother, even if his skin is a different colour, mourn with him, and work together to make the world I have given you both to enjoy, a wonderful place to be in. Focus on what your eyes see, and look with the sight I have given you. Hear with the ears I have given you, think with the mind I have given you and be true to the sight, sound and thought I give you. Lay aside the wild, fanciful and evil imaginings of evil men, and trust me to show you all I have created for you to see and enjoy. Let me introduce you to brothers and sisters, you never knew you had. Be fulfilled in Me. I love you.

Build upon the Rock

Lord: Martin, what do you see?

Me: Lord, I see a number of, what appear to be, marble columns, each about two metres high, with stone statues of people on the tops. One of the statues is a man dressed like a Greek philosopher, another is a soldier, there is a man with a hard hat, a group of three making a family, a man with a briefcase, and one dressed like a scientist with a white coat and an instrument in his hand. They seem to represent all walks of man!

As I continue to look, cracks are appearing in the columns and they are beginning to crumble. The way they are disintegrating suggests they are not made of marble at all! As they crumble the statues are toppling off their perch, and falling to the ground. Some have broken and lie scattered amongst the remains of their columns, others have remained intact. Soon there is no sign of the marble at all; it has all crumbled into fine dust.

As I look, some of the statues have come to life, and are standing on their own. Some of them are even walking around. The wind is blowing, and the fine dust is being blown away. The broken statues are sinking into the sandy ground are are now nearly buried, but those who are walking around are moving towards the high ground, away from the sand, and towards the rock. What does it mean Lord?

Lord: What you see is society today. You live in a society where things are not what they seem. It's a world of false values and fraud. Rock-solid investments and business propositions crumble into dust, because the foundations and the material of which they are built, is like sand. The majority of people in this society had trusted in these structures as though they were made of solid rock. They have looked upon their pillars as beautiful, but it doesn't take an earthquake or a flood to destroy false assumptions; it only take the light breeze produced by truth to shatter the illusion.

The level of trust placed in falsehood is very great, so when the inevitable crash comes, many who fall with it will be broken, not to rise again. Others will weather the crash and will rise again, wiser than before.

The high ground, is the rock that I am. All things made by man are like sand castles. Only the rock that I made is firm and lasting. Those who take refuge in the rock, and build their lives on that rock, build to last.

I am calling the nations now, before it is too late, to return to Me, and to build their society upon My rock. Move away from the shifting sand of human greed, the corrupt columns of evil and deceit, that can only bring heart ache and human misery. Build upon truth and honesty, upon the standards and statutes I have made, for your good.

I am the Lord your God. Trust not in the gods of your own making. Trust only in the Rock that I am. Jesus, My beloved Son has opened a way for you to move away from the shifting sands of sin, and on to the rock which stands firm forever. Turn to Me, and I will heal your land. I love you

I am Working

Lord: Do not, as many do, fall into the trap of thinking that, because you cannot see what I am doing, I am not at work! If the sun rises each morning, and sets each evening, these are the signs that I am still in control of My creation. Moment by moment, since the dawn of time, when I formed the earth and placed the sun, the moon, and the stars in heaven, My Spirit has moved upon the whole of creation and given it life. Without the movement of the Spirit all things would pass away, like the shadows of the night when the dawn comes. I sustain all things, and provide for all my children. Even though man often believes he has provided for his own and his family's needs by the work of his own hands, it is I the Lord your God, who provides for you! I do this because I love you. You are My children whom I formed from the very dust of the earth. I breathed life into you at the beginning, and I keep that breath of life flowing, from day to day, and year to year. Without My love you cease to be.

Recognise Me in all I provide for you, every day. As you acknowledge and thank Me for all I give out of My abundance, so that provision grows and fills you with the nourishment you need. If you continue to ignore me, and not acknowledge My provision for you, then that provision will become like the dust of the Earth to you, and you will be dissatisfied, and will begin to wither, like a plant that has no water. This slow death is not a punishment, but a direct result (cause and effect) of turning your back on the bounty I have provided. Like a branch cut off from the vine, you wither and die. My heart-felt desire is for you all to turn to Me, and accept the love and bounty I am providing for you and pouring out upon you. It is in My heart that you will flourish and blossom, becoming the fulfilled people I made you to be.

You do not walk alone, for I am with you. No step you take along the pathway I have set out for you, goes unrecorded. Those who you meet along the way and those who walk with you, are there because I have caused it, both for your comfort, and for theirs. Bless those who walk with you and allow them to bless you, for as you bless others, so I will bless you.

Many who walk with you will not know me. Let the light I have given you shine upon them, and share with them your witness of all that I have done for you. Remember always, conversion is My work, witness (telling your story), is yours. I am with you and I love you.

Ask Me

Lord: As your Father, I give you life. As Creator, I give all things life. As God, I sustain all that I have made.

My Holy Spirit is the 'doing bit' in creation, moving so fast that he ignites movement in all the static molecules and elements of the universe. When man tries to ignore Me, and then answer some of the questions he has about the universe himself, he gets totally lost. He forgets the immense energy needed needed to start a neutron moving at speeds so great, that it will pass through solid lead several feet thick, as though the lead wasn't there! So he has to create a theory which doesn't even begin to address the problems it creates.

Actually, I have created particles that are so small, they can pass from one side of the created universe, to the other without even slowing down. They travel so fast, that  even microscopic man cannot detect them and if he could, would not be able to determine where they were! Their life span is in minute fractions of a nano-second. For man to produce enough thrust for a man-made object, to just reach enough speed to escape from the Earth, it requires him to burn created fossil fuel, that I laid down during the world-wide flood. To get them to reach even a fraction of the speed of light, would require the Earth's entire stock of that fuel! Yet these particles are created by Me, outside of the created universe. They have no engine to drive them, and no explosion to set them on their way! My Holy Spirit is the speed behind them, and he can launch them, and catch them with ease.

My Son Jesus, is Me. Yes, just as I am one with the Holy Spirit, I am one with Jesus. In order to deal with sin and death, I had to pay the price of sin, not My own sin, for I don't have any! I paid for your sin, by becoming a man. That man I became is Jesus. He is Me, made in a form that man can see and interact with. That is how I, Jesus, was able to deal with the problem of sin, disobedience and death.

Because I reveal myself to you in human form, does not separate Jesus from Me, any more that I am separated from My own Spirit. The separation is purely a human concept, brought about by a limited understanding of everything. If man really wants to understand anything about the universe, his origins, or the so called laws of nature, he would do well to come to Me and ask.

An arrogant man cannot be taught, but the humble learn fast. The unbelieving man sets himself at a disadvantage, for his closed mind refuses to ask, and therefore does not understand what he sees. A man who asks Me, (believes in Me), has the advantage of an open mind, and is quick to learn, because he has asked Me.

Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. I love you, and I want to teach you.

Spreading the True Gospel - Part 4

Lord: Over the centuries, My chosen people had struggled with their understanding of me. For those who followed Me, and tried to live the way, I wanted them to live, the struggle was creating and maintaining laws, which prevented them from falling into the ways of their ancestors, who had roused My wrath. So intense was the struggle to maintain a status quo, from one generation to another, the origins of sin and the significance of man's fall, became lost in the mists of time. Oh yes, they had the accounts written down in the book of Genesis, and they read it and expounded it regularly. But the understanding that I was doing something about it, and was building a bridge across the great divide between Heaven and Earth, was lost to them.

Jesus, was well aware of the fall of Man, and of Noah and the Flood, and of all the events which led to the rise and fall, so many times, of the children of Israel. He not only knew about these events, but understood My part in these things, and My purpose behind them, Jesus did not believe these accounts with a blind faith. He believed them and accepted them as truth on two levels. First of all, He believed them because He received these accounts that were passed down as a part of his people's history. The events were told to each generation, without embellishment or alteration, and each generation made sure they passed it on accurately. Secondly, he believed it all because He was an eye-witness. Yes, Jesus was with me when I created all things! He was a first-hand witness to the events that led Israel to rise and fall. He testifies to this himself when he said, "Before Abraham was, I am." He was already there before Abraham; indeed he was there before Adam. He and I are one.

Every day, My heart broke, because of the sins of My children. His heart broke also. We both knew, from the very beginning, the risk of giving man free-will. We also knew the full cost of putting the situation right. But in order to achieve My purpose, which was to have man love me freely, and of his own free-will, without coercion, and without the fear of the law, someone, who does not suffer from the same condemnation as man, but who is human, must pay the price of sin.

No man born under the curse of Adam, could die for another man's sins. As man can only die once, and he was under the same condemnation; his death would only satisfy his own sin! It had to be a man who was not under that condemnation. In effect, I had to do it Myself! Jesus and I are one. I had to come and be born into a man. This is why Jesus didn't have a human father. Mary his mother was overshadowed by My Spirit, and conceived Jesus, the only man to be totally free from the sin of Adam, yet descended from him through Mary. In dying on the cross, not for his own sin, but for your sin, Jesus took away the curse, and opened a way for man to return to Me.

Now, I spoke about risk for us. The risk was not the pain of death. Nor was it the pain of being separated from Me, as He carried your sin away. It was the risk that, even after such an act of love, man would not accept it, and continue in his rebellion and sin. Remember that gift I gave man, when I breathed into him the breath of life? Free-will! I have not withdrawn that gift. Mankind still has the choice to turn to me, repent of his sin and follow in the way I lead him, or to reject me and continue on his on own way.  Of course, he has always had that choice, but the big difference now, is that Jesus has paid the price for his sin and in so doing, has opened the bridge between Heaven and Earth. That bridge is the Cross on which He died. That Cross has meaning, that is firmly planted in the soil of Eden. It was a pointless gesture, if man had not sinned. If Eden is a Myth, then so is sin, and the Cross has no foundation. My church must accept that My word, the Bible is true, and return to teaching it, and proclaiming the whole gospel. The gospel of Jesus, as the Saviour of Man from Sin, is the best news any man, woman or child, can hear. Every man woman and child, whatever their background and former beliefs, has the free-will to receive Jesus, and all the benefits of the Cross. Once received, no-one has the right to take it away. In these days, men and women everywhere, in every nation under heaven, not only need to hear the good news, but want to receive some good news, in this world of collapsing economies, falling standards, hatred and violence.

Why is the gospel good news? because it brings love, into a loveless world, and love changes lives. I am Love, and from the moment I created man, I loved him. I still love him in spite of all the sin and evil he has been involved with. I hate the sin, but I love the sinner.

    Tell My people I love them.
    Tell My people I care.
    When they feel far away from Me,
    Tell My people, I am there.

Spreading the True Gospel - Part 3

Lord: Now that the necessity for some sort of action, has been established, let's explore what happened.

Since the foundation of the earth and the heavens, man has been My central purpose. The climax of creation week was the creation of man. All that I had made was both perfect and very wonderful. But in all the things I created, I found nothing to satisfy My need to love. I loved everything I made, from the smallest particle, to the greatest star systems, from the smallest living organism, to the greatest of the creatures that have ever roamed on land, or lived in the deepest depths of the sea. I know them all by name, and I command their coming and their going. Something was still lacking, so I made a man in my own image. I placed within the man, whom I formed out of clay, the breath of life. I made him a being, capable of thinking, feeling and loving. With him, I began to share the delights of the creation I had made for him. But he rebelled against me, choosing to walk his own way, and in so doing, upset the very delicate, and finely tuned balance of creation. Something had to be done to restore the balance. Without some action, mankind would destroy himself, and all creation with him.

The man himself knew what he had done, and over the centuries, vent his anger at himself, for losing paradise, by trying everything he could think of to fill the gaping hole inside him, which was once occupied by his close relationship with Me. He tried accumulating wealth, exercising power over other people. He raped, murdered, terrorised. He tried being alone, he tried large cities, he explored the Earth, and he tried to build towers to reach into heaven. When all this didn't satisfy the aching in his soul, he sought to find truth and fulfilment in thinking, fantasy, mysticism, magic and religion. He became adapt at creating gods, to rule his life, for he realised, that without Me, he had no direction, no purpose and no satisfaction. Generations tried to find a way back to Eden, and to Me. However man could not pass the Angel, who guarded the way with his flaming sword. This may all sound like a myth, but the reality of it is more stark, than you have even begun to imagine.

When man rebelled against me, and was expelled from the Garden of Eden, a great gulf was fixed between Heaven and Earth. Its purpose was to contain sin, and confine it to the Earth, preventing it from entering into Heaven. It was also for man's good. In his fallen, sinful state, to enter the perfection and brilliance of My presence, would burn man to a cinder. That is why I could not even allow my friend Moses to see My face. For no man, can look on the face of God, and live.

As man himself is not able to put the situation right, and, as the offence was against Me, and not man, any action to redeem this situation, was down to Me. I could have walked away from man, and creation, which would have caused all things to cease to exist, or I could act and put things right. There was only one reason why I chose to make a way for man to be redeemed. That reason, was the same one that caused me to create all things: Love. Yes, even in his fallen state, I loved the man that I had made. I hate the sin, and the disobedience, I hate evil in any form, but when I made the man, he was perfect. I loved him then, and I still do. It is this force of love, the most powerful force in all of creation, that I use, to bring man back to Paradise.

A life of sin and evil causes man to become isolated and lonely. He soon becomes rejected, even by others who live in that same state of sin. Any love between sinners, can very easily become lust and craving. A form of selfishness that thinks only of personal satisfaction. The deeper man falls into this pit of sin and evil, the less love features in his existence, and the more he craves for love. The only way to reach into the depths of this prison man is in, is to reach out with love. It has to be a love that can forgive, and go beyond his present state. No other man can love him, as much as he needs loving. Because the sin is not primarily against man, no man can truly forgive him.

Therefore I had to act! I am the one, who has been sinned against, so only I can truly forgive sin. However, there is still one small problem. The direct result of sin is death. Mankind started walking down the pathway to death as soon as he cut himself off from Me. In the same way that cutting a rose bloom from its bush means that you have cut it off from its source of life, and it will surely die, so by cutting himself off from Me, man secured his own death. The result or wages, of sin is death. It is a fact of life, it is inevitable!

Just as with the rose, there is an answer, but it does require outside action. Many fruit bearing trees and plants, like roses, can with the help of a gardener, be grafted back into good rootstock. Man had cut himself off from his source of life (rootstock). There is no way for him to graft himself back in. But it is possible for Me to provide a way. That is exactly what I have done through Jesus! The Bible clearly traces My actions, as I prepared a people to receive the answer to man's sins.

By letting go of the Bible, by not teaching it and believing it, the church undermines  the gospel it is trying to promote. The New Testament, the story of Jesus, cannot be taught on its own, for its foundations are very firmly in the old Testament. Remove or undermine the Old, and the New topples over.

Spreading the True Gospel - Part 2

Lord: Having established that the origin of man's sin, is very firmly placed in the Garden of Eden, and that the nature of that sin, was the deliberate disobedience of man, to the command I gave him, we can begin to move on, and look at where that bad situation led.

For his own good, lest he put forth his hand, and take also fruit from the tree of life, and eat, which would give him eternal life, I had to turn him out into the world, and guard the way to the Tree of Life. Now there are two reasons for doing this: Had the man and woman continued living in the garden in their disobedience, with all the consequences of that sin, they would have eventually taken from the tree of life, eaten and become like Me, eternal. Over the eons of time, that make up eternity, it would have become too big a burden for man, to bear eternity separated from Me! I had to act. I had to cut his life to a more manageable time scale. It was for his own good. Secondly, sin is like a cancer. I had to prevent the cancer from spreading, into the heavens I had created, which is where the fruit of the tree of life leads.

This brings me on to the next layer of foundation for the Gospel. I had to create a pathway, a means of transport, for mankind to come back to Me, which would deal with this problem of sin. It would have been easy for Me to just obliterate sin, take away the man's ability to make that choice. But I would have ended up with a man who loved me, purely because I made him to love Me, and not because he chooses to love Me. The free-will love of man, is very precious to me.

In the centuries following the expulsion from the garden, evil abounded. There were no laws, no guidelines for man to follow, and the inherent goodness of man was, generation by generation, swamped by selfishness, greed and anger. In those generations, very few men and women bothered to ask Me for My help! The situation deteriorated, until Adam and Eve had both died, and all those who had walked with Me were no more. Eventually, there was only Noah left, who could be really called, righteous.

As I said yesterday, with man's disobedience, the Earth began to creak and groan. Yes, the whole of creation, even the stars in the heavens, were affected by the disharmony that man had set in motion. Such was the disturbance in nature, the Earth itself wanted to cleanse itself of the irritation. The only reason it didn't, was that I placed My hand upon the Earth to calm it down, until the time was right, when I could see that all those who had known me were gone, and that, the thoughts of mankind were only evil all the time. Having prepared Noah and his sons, and instructed them in the building of the ark, I withdrew my hand, to allow the built up tensions in the Earth to release. Only Noah and his family were saved.

The flood, and the salvation of the animal kingdom, and all mankind through the ark, was a real event in history. For those with open minds and hearts, the evidence is all around, to see and be discovered. It was a very important event in My plan for salvation. It shows the consequences of evil, and My love for mankind, that I did not completely wipe him from the face of the earth. The Biblical record of these events is both accurate and true. As with all scripture, it may be relied upon in every way.

The Church today must return, to its once firmly held belief, in the inerrant truth of scripture. The Bible is My word, and I do not lie. Those who try to convince, even the elect, that the Garden of Eden, and the great Flood, are purely myths, know that if they can undermine these truths, saying they are not history, then the whole gospel of Jesus Christ is without foundation.

Man has sinned, and has fallen short of My glory, and the standard I have set for him. The consequence of sin is death. It is not a punishment, it is the direct result of sin. That death, is eternal separation from Me, your Creator and lover. Yes I love you!. Without My love, all mankind is loveless!

So I call My Church to return to the full gospel, starting with the truth as found in scripture. Tomorrow we turn, to My answer to the problem.

Spreading the True Gospel - Part 1

Lord: As the crisis in the nations of the world continues, it is of vital importance that My Church remains focused and steadfast. The first thing for you to take hold of is this. The financial and political crisis in the world today is a direct result of a turning away from Me, and a complete acceptance of the gods of worldly power and wealth!

My church too, is self-absorbed, and beguiled by the gods of this present darkness. The organisation has become the cause, the purpose, and the end of the churches' existence. Buildings, rituals, priestly structures and statements of faith, have blinded the eyes of the church, and become the gospel they blindly follow. While many still pay lip service to the importance of Holy Scripture, few really believe the words to be from Me, and nor can they say why it is important. Many faithful servants of the church have abandoned the front line, because they have not been given the equipment they need to advance. They are like soldiers without armour or weapons.

Now, today, is the time to change all this! I am calling you My people, to take up both the armour and the weapons I have bestowed on My church since the onset of time. Clothe yourselves with all the equipment I have provided, and do as the first Christians were commanded to do, "Take the Gospel in to all the world, and make disciples of all the nations." So, what is it that the church has abandoned that it needs to take up again?

First of all, I am calling my people back to the time of their conversion. The first moment they realised that they were sinners and needed someone to get them out of the pit of sin they were in. The recognition that you are sinners is a vital first step. It is however very easy for those who have recognised that truth, to forget, or not realise, that for many, there is no recognition of there being such a thing as sin. Modern, western teaching in schools and colleges, is so straight-jacketed by godless dogma and political correctness, that it is too scared to teach about sin and righteousness. The Biblical concept of original sin is washed away by the belief that man is no more than a chance bundle of chemicals and electrical pulses, and if that were the case, free-will, morality, righteousness and sin are no more than figments of a chemical reactions' imagination. So, in coming back to first principles, the moment you first realised you needed salvation, you must look at sin, and recognise what it is you need salvation from, and where it came from. The secular world cannot answer that question, but I have already supplied the answer for you in the book of Genesis in the Bible. Right there, in the first three chapters, I have spelt out, and painted a vibrant picture of what took place when I created the Heavens and the Earth.

Come back to, and hold on to, the first simple truth in this journey, that I am the Creator God, and in the beginning, I created everything out of nothing. When you look through the most powerful telescopes man has ever produced, and look into the deep reaches of space, everything that you can see, and all that is beyond your sight, I created. When you look into the most powerful electron microscope, and observe the mechanisms that inhabit the molecules of the building blocks of life, everything you observe, I created. There is nothing you can see that I did not make. On those first days of creation, everything that I made was perfect. It was all exactly as I designed it and it was good, very good! This My children, is the truth. I do not lie! What I am telling you today is exactly the same as I have told My children down all the years of history, since the first man, Adam, walked on the Earth. I have recorded this truth in My account of creation in your Bible. When it comes to foundations of faith, this is the beginning. When it comes to a choice between believing about origins, are you going to believe the one who was there, and brought all things into being, or those who don't want to face Me, who were not there, and who have made up all sorts of fanciful myths, to excuse their unbelief? Myths that are having each day to be modified by yet more myths, as they realise, but don't admit, that their wild stories just don't add up or fit the observable facts. My word however, has both stood the test of time and explains everything from a first-hand observer's vantage point.

Now, the reason I am labouring this is because we are talking foundations to the true Gospel here, as you will see in the days to come, as I progress with the story.

Having established that I am the Creator, and that Genesis is My account of how I created the world, the next truth to hold on to, is that I told the truth when I recorded that all things were created in six days. No, I did not use eons of time or any other unit. From the beginning of creation to the finish of creation took six days! The reason I am emphasising this fact is to show you that Man was created right at the beginning. He is not an afterthought; he is the purpose of creation! He does not come at the end of eons of death and destruction, and countless life death cycles. I placed man in the garden I created on the sixth day of creation, when all was still perfect. Indeed man was a part of the perfect creation I made. When I saw all that I had made on the last day, I could see that all of it, man included, was very good! I still remember that day as if it was this morning, and I well remember the delight on the man's face, as he beheld everything I had made for him.

The garden I made for him was a joy to make, and a wonder to behold. In a way you could call it a nursery, for the man and the woman I made, were created adult. They had no human parents to learn from. I had to be their teacher. The garden was a wonderful place for them to explore and to learn from. Every day I walked with them and talked with them. Everything they asked and every question they had, I answered them. I brought every living thing before the man to see, to recognise and to name. Even as I taught the man and the woman all about the creation, creation itself was flourishing. The plants were bearing seed and bringing new plants into being, the animals were maturing and giving birth after their own kind, the birds filled the air, and the sea teemed with life. The harmony within the world was a wonder to see, and was like a symphony in my ears. The Garden of Eden was paradise; it was perfect.

The greatest risk I took in defining the creation as perfect, was that in so doing I created the possibility of the imperfect. By defining something as good, creates the possibility of bad! When I told the man that he had the freedom to eat from any tree in the garden except the tree in the centre, it was to begin the process that you now call evil.

Evil originated with an act of disobedience. It was a rebellion against Me, choosing to listen to a serpent and believe his word rather than mine. In making that decision, man brought disharmony and dis-ease into the perfection I had made, and paradise was shattered. From that moment on, all creation began to creak and groan, to age and decay. The perfection was lost, and man's relationship with Me, of love and trust, was tried to the limit. Sin came between the perfection that is Me, and the evil that is man.

The parallels between the situation in the Garden of Eden, and the situation in the world today are numerous. For a start they are both caused by not believing Me and disobeying My simple rules for life. That is the reason why mankind needs a Saviour. That is why something was  and is needed, to restore the balance and harmony of the original creation, and man's once perfect relationship with me. This is why I want my church to return to, and understand the origins of sin, so that you can come to the realisation that, you need a Saviour! In the coming week I want to show you afresh, the steps needed to restore the church, to a vital, vibrant, vehicle, to take the Gospel of salvation into all the world.

Stand and be Counted for Me

Lord: As with the kings of Israel and Judah in the decades moving up to the exile, the problem with the nations today is outright rebellion against Me. Yes, even at the highest level there is deliberate disobedience to My commands. Even in the churches there is compromise and rebellion, as more and more people try to introduce practices and polices that contravene My most sacred law. The efforts made, to introduce acceptance of practices that are unacceptable to Me, is very subtle. Satan knows that to just suggest such practices would be rejected by any, even nominal, believer. However, by introducing laws into the secular world, it becomes impossible for people of high moral principals to hold their views within the law. That is why children of My Kingdom must stand for what is right, and fiercely resist this constant chipping away of moral standards. To do this, the false assumption, that there is no God and therefore no absolutes, must be destroyed, especially within the Church itself. Do not be beguiled into thinking that all who attend church, in any denomination, are believers; they are not. There are many in every congregation who attend church and belong, for many reasons other than faith. Be open to them by all means, and welcome them and nurture them into My Kingdom, but be aware of them and where they are in faith. For many of them are now sitting on the synods and councils that shape the policy and direction of the church.

All Church policy and direction MUST be led and directed by My Holy Spirit, who always points to Jesus. Jesus is the rock on which the Gospel is founded. Scripture is the guide book and reference. Any movement away from Jesus and Scripture, any ignoring of the leading of My Holy Spirit, leads to disaster.

Children, I want My Church back. Wake up out of your slumber and reject the false gods you are now following. Reject the leadership of those who are leading you down pathways of secularism and sin, that will lead to more sin. My way for My church is pure and holy, and is firmly founded in love, on the commandments I have set in stone. The ten commandments are, and always will be, the foundation stone of righteousness. The assimilation of the practices of other religions and the worship of other gods is totally unacceptable. The purpose of reaching out to other religions is not to assimilate them, but to turn their followers to Jesus and to Me. Assimilation is the crime I had to punish Israel for, in the days of the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. It is the sole reason for their downfall, that they followed other gods, and they broke the first commandments, placing the worship of the works of their hands or minds before Me.

I am God, I am jealous for My name, but I am not an ogre that seeks to destroy or pull down. When my creation, that's you, follow in My ways, it prospers and flourishes. A straightforward reading of the Word I have given you in Holy Scripture, will clearly show you the enormous lengths I have gone to, to try and keep my chosen people in the centre of my will. It shows the contrast between those who were righteous and those who did evil. My will, and I have every right to expect this of my creation, is that all should be righteous, because it is for the good and prosperity of mankind.

Children, I am calling you, My church, to to stand and be counted, to stand firm against evil and injustice, and to hold firmly to the Cross of Jesus as you proclaim the Good News. Speak the truth boldly, for it is truth which will destroy the lie. Turn the hearts of My people back to Me, that I may once again establish my prosperity and freedom upon My people. I love you.

Prayer for Victory

Vision: I saw the British Isles laid out before me, as if seen from a point high above the Welsh border. The whole land was clear to see and the coastline sharply defined. As I looked around in all directions, I could see there was movement on the face of the land. At first I thought it was random movement, but then a clear pattern emerged, and I realised the movement was towards certain centres. The major movement was towards London, coming from all directions, and there was major movement towards Cardiff and Edinburgh. These were the main centres of movement. Other centres of movement were scattered all over the land. At first, although clear to see, and well defined, the land looked dark and foreboding, but as the movement towards these centres progressed, the centres themselves took on lighter colour, which spread out from them, and slowly changed the overall colour of the land, from dark to light, from being a sort of muddy brown, to being fresh and vibrant green.

Me: Lord what is it I see? Who is on the move, and what is the meaning of this vision?

Lord: What you see is, not as you suppose, a movement of people across the land; it is a movement of prayer and focus. Let's first deal with the three main focal points, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh. These are the main seats of political power in the land, and the first major areas where a turning to Me is required. They are also the main centres of influence, not just in these islands, but throughout the world. The movement you see towards these centres is a focus of prayer not yet seen in the land, towards the political power houses. Politicians have lost their way and do not have the answers needed to pull the country round. No party has the answer, and even the pooled resources of a coalition, do not have what it will need to reverse the wealth and prosperity of this nation. There is however an answer. It has been there all along and I have many times given you and many others, the pointers needed to find the way. Because the present world wide political and financial melt-down is of My making, and sent upon the nations at My command, the only answer to the problem is for nations, yes, nations, to turn to Me and ask Me for My help! All the austerity measures, or anti-austerity measures, will amount to nothing, because on both sides the poorest people will suffer and at the end of the day, evil and corruption will flourish! Only by turning to Me, and acknowledging My sovereignty, can I begin to help, for it is in that surrender that I can work, and transform and heal the land. The only way for this to come about is by focused and concentrated prayer from Christians all over the land, directed at these three seats of power, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh. I want my Church to declare times of prayer for government and politicians. Pray for them, that they will surrender to Me! Do not stop praying for them.

The second focus of movement in the vision is towards the universities and places of learning throughout the land, especially those who influence and teach the teachers! In spite of many of these centres of learning being proclaimed as places of excellence, there has been such a turning away from Me, they are no longer places of excellence but dens of lies and untruths. Many have become strongholds of Satan, and some openly promote evil practices that are contrary to My commandments. Focus and concentrate prayer upon these places of learning, praying for a turning back to Me, so that I may become the teacher, and not the exile! Remember the universities and colleges that teach theology, for even they are not honouring Me, and are trying to bend My truth to fit the demands of man. Pray for a return to the Word I have given. At the moment I hardly recognise their teaching as theology. Pray for a return to Jesus as Lord!

As the places of power, and the places of learning and teaching are saturated in focused prayer, lives will change dramatically, and the colour of the country will change, as individuals turn to me and change. As they in turn spread their influence, the colour of the nation will change from muddy dying, to vibrant life. As the nations prays, and seeks My face, I will turn from the path I had set, and will show them the path to righteousness and growth.

The new path of growth I have determined for the nation is not based upon the city of London and its financial institutions, which have all been shown to have feet of clay, but is based upon My economy of love. Many will laugh at this, just as many laughed at Noah in the days before the flood, but only Noah and seven others were saved! I am not asking anyone to convince others; I shall do that. I am calling My people to Prayer for Victory. I love you. Come to Me.

More on Forgiveness

Lord: I want to take you on this morning a little further than yesterday. It is very important that you nurture the concept of forgiveness, and tend it until it blossoms in your life. Forgiveness is a blossom which stays in bloom 24/7 and 365 days a year, if it is treated right and fed. The main problem man has with forgiveness is that guilt gets in the way. Every man, woman and child alive today is guilty of sin, yes even the smallest child is born into sin. But let's stay with those who are old enough to make decisions and map their own life. Because of the repetitive nature of sin, it keeps reoccurring. Man finds it very hard to forgive himself for his own weakness, and therefore reluctant to accept that anyone else could forgive him unconditionally. Because he, in a sense, refuses to forgive himself or accept forgiveness, it is hard for him to have any concept of forgiveness for others.

For this reason I sent Jesus into the world. Jesus is man; he was born of a human woman, exactly the same as every other man in the world, who has ever lived, except Adam. However, Jesus did not have a human father, I am his father, and it was the power of My Holy Spirit that overshadowed Mary so that she could conceive. Jesus showed mankind My loving, forgiving nature. He constantly showed this face to any who were locked into the clutches of sin.

When a young woman was caught in the act of adultery, she was faced with the prospect of being stoned to death. Now, according to their own law, the Jews were required to stone the man as well! But he was conveniently left out of the equation, which shows that this was a set-up, and proves that those who brought her to Jesus were all guilty, if not of sleeping with her themselves, or unconcern for her, and lack of forgiveness.

Jesus did not accuse them in so many words, but he showed them all that they all needed forgiveness, not only for their attitude to the woman, but also for their attitude to him, in trying to catch him out and so condemn him. Without pointing the finger at anyone in particular, He challenges each one of them to search his own heart, and look at his motives for calling for her death. One at a time they silently get up and leave, unable to stand blameless before Him. Finally, when all have left, He turns to the woman, who must have been very frightened and friendless up until that point. Then He, Jesus, who alone could have thrown the first stone, simply says to her, "I don't condemn you either, go and change your life style so as not to sin again." What music to the poor girl's ears.

You do not know the circumstances that led her into adultery, and you don't need to know, for it is not for one sinner to judge another sinner. Judgement is mine alone to give, and I have chosen to be merciful. Through Jesus on the cross, I have forgiven even the men who hammered the nails into his hands and feet. I forgave the thief who, recognising that he was being punished justly for his crimes, turned to Jesus and asked to be remembered before Me, when Jesus came into His kingdom. That honesty was rewarded by total forgiveness. If I can do it, so can you! Forgive those who sin against you, and be slow to condemn, lest you to be convicted and condemned for the sin that besets you.

Children, I love you, and that love include this precious gift of forgiveness, that is made possible by Jesus, dying in your place on the Cross. Love one another as I have loved you.

Forgiveness and My Commandments

Lord: I want to talk to my church about forgiveness this morning, for I know that many are as distressed as I am, with the lack of forgiveness, in the very public eye, and in the media.

There is a modern trend to offer no quarter to anyone who, even once in their life, transgresses the law, and people are today bringing up small offences 20 or 30 years after they were committed, in order to gain money from them. In a Christian country, this sort of behaviour should be balanced by My perspective on things. Let me explain what I mean. I will start by my law.

 

My Law can be summed up in the commandments I gave to Moses. Now six of these ten commandments are the fundamental basis of all laws in both Christian and non Christian societies. For the moment I have passed over the first four, but I will come back to them in a moment.

The last six commandments are agreed upon by most societies around the world as the foundation stones for society. Not all the societies which incorporate them in their legal system derived them from Moses, but from the realisation that stable society requires standards of acceptable behaviour. Respecting and honouring your parents and elders is part of all stable societies where the young are safe and protected and free to learn and grow up into good people. Murder is unacceptable to most, even the most heathen or materialist, societies, and although it is commonplace as societies wander further from me, it is still a basic punishable law offence in all nations. Adultery is considered stealing or cheating, but it is also recognised as a cancer that attacks family life, and the stability of any nation is in its family. Stealing is also socially unacceptable the world over. Even in those nations that embrace communism, and re-distribute wealth, stealing is still a crime against the state. Bearing false witness is effectively lying! Lying leads one away from truth, and although many individuals and societies, wouldn't recognise truth if it reared up and bit them, no one likes to find out that they have been lied to! Coveting is one of the most widespread of all the sins of mankind. Everyone at some time in their life is jealous of someone owning something they don't have. That something may be a material possession like a car, a home or a job, or it may be something less tactile, but nevertheless just as real, like a talent, an education, an opportunity. Coveting anything that belongs to someone else leads to a breaking of all of the commandments or laws that govern society.

The first four commandments are the elements that set My law and commandments above the laws and commandments of the godless. The reason for this is simple; the first four commandments require an acceptance of an authority higher than the authority of man. That authority is Me! Why should I have more authority than the leaders of men? Because I am the Designer and Creator of everything that is. I formed everything in the entire universe and beyond, out of nothing! As the creator, even of the laws of nature, many of which mankind has not even imagined exist, I have absolute power and authority over everything I laid down those laws on tablets of stone for Moses, to create a nation. They were the lowest common denominator of basic rules. Keep the first four, and keeping the next six is much easier. Keep them all and man is living the life I intended him to live.

Now let's look at something which is often overlooked. When I gave the commandments to Moses, I wanted mankind to use a gift I first gave to Adam and Eve. That gift is free-will. I wanted mankind to exercise the gift by accepting the commandments freely, without coercion, to recognise the goodness and rightness of them, and to realise that as they became a single nation, the free adoption of My commandments would enable them to live in peace with one another.

Notice that in the narrative which relates how I gave them to Moses, I do not include a punishment for the breaking of any of the commandments. The nearest I come to a punishment is that I say of those who take my name in vain, that I will not hold them guiltless. I want man to keep these commandments, not out of fear or punishment, but out of love, accepting them as the minimum standard of decent living and of righteousness.

Now, because they are so basic in society, the breaking of any of My commandments, does have consequences, which, if left unchecked lead to human suffering, disease, and the breakdown of family and society. Hence the necessity for some form of reckoning and or punishment. This purges the evil from society, but it must be, and be seen to be, just. Some trespasses are unintentional or accidental, and some seem unavoidable at the time. This is why I have allowed for forgiveness and a means of atonement.

Remorse and sadness, about a breaking of the commandments can and should, lead to repentance. and an acknowledgement of the wrong done; a desire to say sorry and to make restoration. A resolve to never do it again, should lead to forgiveness. on the part of society.

A society which is in any way God-fearing, whether Christian or otherwise, should also accept that what I have forgiven is forgiven for ever! Those who fail to forgive, whether great or small, set themselves up above mankind as some sort of god themselves. In remaining unforgiving of those who have repented, they place themselves in the wrong before me. For if I, as the Creator, and only just judge, have declared someone clean, who can dare to challenge My judgement?

Forgiveness, whether from man or from Me, is a precious gift. When I forgive sins, those sins are forgiven forever, and no amount of fishing can bring them back. When you forgive the sin of anyone who sins against you, they stand forgiven! Yes, I have declared through My beloved son Jesus, that if you forgive the sins of anyone they are forgiven, both on Earth and in Heaven. You may not, after forgiving anyone, bring that sin up again! To do so makes you a liar, and equally as guilty as the one who has sinned against you. Remember that All mankind has sinned, that means even you, and have fallen short of the minimum standard I have set! No one is without sin, and the wages or consequence, of sin is death! Jesus died on the Cross to deal with that death and give all men a way to come back, into the way of righteousness. Once they have been forgiven, they are forgiven, both in the eyes of his fellow sinner and, in My eyes as well. Remember when you accuse others, that there are accusations against you! If you forgive others, then others will forgive you. If I forgive you, then no man may accuse you.
 

Love one -another, as I have loved you!

I value Purity

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son, Thank you for joining us this morning and spending time with us. We love you too.

Solomon, like so many great men down the ages, started out determined to follow the God of his father David. He had grown up to see how King David, all his life, tried to follow me and stay true. Oh, like all men he had his ups and his downs, but generally, overall, he stayed true to me, and was always ready to admit when he was wrong. Even when Nathan the prophet pointed out his great sin against Uriah the Hittite, in taking his wife to bed, he was genuinely repentant.

Solomon started out with many good intentions. Unfortunately his reign started with shed blood, but that is true of so many kings and kingdoms. His reign, through the early years, was peaceful. Having established himself as king, and dealt with the opposition, he had peace on all his borders, and made an alliance with Egypt by marrying Pharaoh's daughter. They actually loved each other. She was beautiful, and remained faithful to him, which was why he built her a palace for herself and her Egyptian retinue. Solomon's sin, however, started when he began to tolerate, and even encourage, his wife's fascination for, and devotion to, the gods of Egypt. He became divided, forgetting Me, and following too closely behind his wife. Had he used his wisdom right (it was after all a gift from me) he would have taught his wife all about Me and brought her also into the kingdom. I would have received her, as I did so many other foreigners. Joseph's wife was Egyptian! Rahab the prostitute was a foreigner, as was Ruth the Moabite, and both these women became ancestors of Jesus.

Purity is something I highly value. But it is not purity as man interprets the word. The purity that I value is not purity of race; all men are one race anyway! No, the purity I value is the purity of the heart. I am pure love, and I value pure love in my creation. I made mankind to love. Man is made with the ability to love with a pure, selfless love. This is what I value, this is what I rejoice in. Pure selfless love does not give in, it works tirelessly for the salvation of the object of its attention. Solomon's love for his wife  should have been directed at her soul, the real person, not just at making her physically happy.

Today, mankind is totally bent on the happiness and the immediate wealth of today, with little, or no, thought for tomorrow. Therefore I say to you, prepare for tomorrow and prepare others for Eternity. Come yourself and bring them into a solid, real, personal relationship with me, then they will be both equipped and ready for all that tomorrow will bring. Sharing Me with others is the most loving and life-giving act anyone can perform. I want my Church to show the world how it is done.

Flood of the Holy Spirit

Me: Thank you Lord that the responses from 24th are still so positive, and that there are signs of great things happening. Please Lord, continue the work you have begun and take the glory, for you alone are worthy to be praised. Lord please spread this revival like a bush fire all over the country. Let it sweep across the generations, the denominations, across cultural and class divides. Let Jesus rule in all our hearts. I love you Lord.

Lord: Yes son, fires are alight all over the West Country, and even now I am fanning the flames with the wind of My Holy Spirit. It will not be long before the flames are sweeping through county after county.

I am, even now, raising up an army to move forward into the areas where the ashes of cleansing have settled, to nurture and water, and in some cases, to replant the new life that is springing up all over the land. I am also causing the wind of My Spirit to blow like a gale through the media. Oh, how the corruption within that industry grieves me. However, to coincide with My revival work I am also putting a new spirit and a new heart into the BBC, into the independent media, and into the Murdoch establishments. A new river is flowing, that has the power to reach into the areas that at present lie hidden from sight. The power of this river will be that of a flood, but is will cause no alarm to those who have their feet planted firmly on the rock that is Jesus.

Many will be washed away in the flood that is just beginning, but do not dismiss them as lost, for the main work of My church will be rescue. It will not be rescue of the corruption or evil that I am cleansing, but the salvation of those who were caught up in it. Forgiveness will be the order of the day, even forgiveness for politicians, who, without my help can only flounder in a river that is out of their depth.

This cleansing is My work; I need no help from man. Where I want my church involved is hauling the drowning out of the river. Only those who stand firmly on the rock can help those who are drowning. Those who I call to jump into the flood to save others, must be joined by a life-line to those who are standing on the rock. The life-line is the prayers of the saints, directed and bound together by the Holy Spirit.

Me: Lord, I see the fires burning and I see the rivers in flood, but the rivers do not quench the fires. How come?

Lord: The fires burn in the hearts of those whose lives are firmly planted in me. They stand upon the firm rock that is unmoved by the flood. The fires that were started on the low ground, which had no foundation in Me, have all been, or all will be, washed away. Faith without Jesus is faith without foundation. It will pass. But faith in Jesus is the unmovable rock, which will outlast the Earth. Many things will pass away in the days and months ahead, but My Word will stand forever. Those who trust in the Word, who is Jesus, will not be put to shame, but will inherit the Kingdom I have established, both here on the Earth and in Heaven. Do not trust in human institutions or in your own strength. Trust in the Lord your God, for He alone is able to save, and it is only through the name of Jesus that men are redeemed.

Lubrication for Harmony

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you Lord  for the signs of your hand at work fulfilling the words you have given to me and to others. You are faithful Lord and I love you.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us this morning. Yes, I promised that you would begin to see me at work, and I shall continue to do all that I have set out. The pace of revival and renewal is gathering, and I am continually raising up and moving around My workers, to bring in the harvest.

Vision: I see before me a watch or clock mechanism. It is running and all the parts are functioning. Then, as I looked, I became aware of a noise, like metal grinding against metal, and I became aware of imbalances in the tiny cogs and gears. I see it as if through a powerful magnifying glass, and can see tiny bits of grit scratching the otherwise shiny surfaces. It is obvious that all was not right. Then I saw the mechanism bathed in liquid, like very fine oil. The bits of dirt were washed away and all began to run smoothly again.

Lord: You see well. A dry, rusty mechanism will always require much more energy to get started and keep moving, and will cause a lot of friction, which distorts, cracks, damages and hinders the purpose of the mechanism, However a well-lubricated mechanism is easy to start, and runs smoothly with little or no friction, and therefore no damage. The energy required is only a fraction of that required to run the dirty one.

From this illustration, it is easy to see that all the elements are vital to the correct and smooth running of the clock. Without the gears and mechanism, there would be no way to tell the time. Without the mainspring or source of energy, the gears could not turn. Without perfect balance and the right lubrication, the whole thing would grate, grind, and screech, eventually distorting and grinding to a halt! All the energy expended would have been wasted!

Now let's see what all this means in relation to the Good News about Jesus. My Church is a mechanism for taking the good news about Jesus, and all He has done, to the people of the world. Just as the purpose of a clock is to mark the passage of time, so the purpose of the Good News is to bring salvation to the lost. The mainspring of the Church is the power of My Holy Spirit. It is my Spirit that that moves all the component parts in harmony and drives the evangelists, who are like the hands of a clock; they point to Jesus. The things that bring disharmony and cause the Church to grate, grind and screech, are those who are not working with the Spirit, but trying to resist Him. Every church has those who are not working in total harmony or who resist the flow of the Spirit. The answer to the problem is not to get rid of them for, just as in a clock, where every component has a purpose, so in a church every member has a ministry and purpose.

In any quality watch or clock there is another element, not very obvious, but nevertheless vital to its smooth running, the lubrication! The purist will tell you that a watch or clock doesn't need lubrication. This is not true; every mechanism where metal rubs against metal needs lubrication. In the case of a watch it is provided by the jewelled movement and very fine, almost vapour, oil. Without these it is only a matter of time before wear and tear take their toll.

For the mechanism of the church to run in perfect harmony, it also requires lubrication. No, the lubrication of the church is not the bishop or the minister, and no, it isn't the preaching or the training! The lubrication of the church is its intercessors! Those who remain in My presence, making intercession for all the saints, these loved ones are the lubrication which maintains the smooth running and harmony of all aspects of my Church. They are vital! Never underestimate their role or hinder them in any way. When economies need to be made, increase the lubrication! When new ministries are rising, back each one with intercessors. No one should go out into the mission field, whether at home or abroad, without the backing of people praying for them every day and every hour.

Value and support My intercessors, remember that though they are vital support for others in the field of mission, they too need love and support. They are the peace-makers within the family of the church, for by their prayers they bring harmony. In today's divided church, the role of my intercessors is vital. In today's divided world they have an even bigger task. Therefore I am calling all my church to support them in repentance and prayer!

Act of Righteousness

Lord: The story of Abigail is the story of how I saved and redeemed a nasty situation. She was a righteous woman, caught in an arranged, loveless marriage to a man who wasn't worthy of her. In her righteous act of sending gifts to David to avert his wrath over the insult her husband had heaped on him, she diverted his wrath and kept him from acting without consulting Me. His reward, and her salvation, were both satisfied when he asked her to be his wife. You see her security was all tied up in her marriage. If David had attacked and killed all the males in her household, she would have been left with no security and in contempt of David and everyone else. She would probably have ended up as a slave. Even if her husband died of natural causes her fate would rest with whoever inherited his estates, as they had no children. That would mean someone of her husband's choosing and of like mind to him. Her fate would be to become the wife of an equally obnoxious man, or to be turned out of her home, penniless. So, because of her act of righteousness, David met her and saw her in a good light. He fell in love with her and she with him. When she was freed by the sudden death of her husband, David sent to her and she became his wife. Thus her situation was redeemed.

    I see every act of righteousness and I honour every deed done in love. There is no situation that I cannot redeem. I have proved that with the Cross. Even the hardness of man's heart can be softened! All the problems of the nations today can be solved overnight, yes, overnight, by that nation turning to Me and asking forgiveness! A national day of prayer for the nation, called by national leaders and backed by all the churches, would restore this nation of yours overnight.

    Keep these things before you, and pray for the moving of My Spirit in your land. I am with you and I am listening and waiting for those prayers of repentance. 

    “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Pilgrimage

Me: Good Morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Lord be with the young people of the diocese of St. Albans today as they converge on St Albans for the Annual Youth Pilgrimage. Please be with all those on a pilgrimage today for whatever reason and bring them to know you. I love you Lord.

Lord: Out of the many pilgrimages and retreats throughout the world I raise up my leaders. Today My Spirit will be working on the hearts of many young people, and you will see the results of His work before too long.

Life is a pilgrimage, which every man, woman and child, is on. The start of that pilgrimage is their birth, and the end is when they find me waiting for them at the gate of My home in Heaven. Some walk most of the journey with Me at their side, trusting Me, and following My leading. Some only find Me at as they near the end of their journey. Battle-worn and weary, they stumble into my arms as they reach the gate. Some just follow the crowd. Depending on which crowd they are following, some make it to the gate, while others are led astray and never arrive.

The ones I am raising up today, are those who are brave enough to follow the leading of My Spirit, and venture into the crowd going in the wrong direction. Their task is to bring back into My flow those who are lost. This is dangerous and distracting work and requires those who have a close relationship with me, and a love for the lost. These workers in my field require the support and prayer of My intercessors, whose prayers will be like a climber's safety rope, or a lifeline attached to a swimmer or diver. Never underestimate the power of intercessory prayer! It is the prayer of the saints, powered by My Holy Spirit, that keeps the work of the Kingdom going.

Look with your inner eyes for pictures and visions of My revival. Yes son, the revival has begun, and even now My Spirit is bringing many people to their knees for the first time. This work of My Spirit will touch princes and politicians, leaders in industry and commerce, scientists and teachers, workers and graduates, students and children, immigrants and indigenous, and people of all faith backgrounds and none. No one shall be outside the influence of My Holy Spirit as He sweeps through this land. Even the media will be caught up, and will find reporting what I am doing is more exciting and fulfilling than everything they once looked on as newsworthy. Even bishops, priests and ministers will fall under the power of the Holy Spirit in these days.

Look out for these events and rejoice. Sing from the heart your songs of praise and worship, that your voices may rise to the heavens, and fill My throne room with a pleasing and sweet smelling aroma. Join now into the praises of Heaven. Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord.

Easter Sunday

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for Jesus' Resurrection from the dead, and with it, the promise of new life in Him. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us this morning. Yes, son, the Resurrection is the key, or pivot of creation. It is through the Resurrection that Jesus completed the work I sent him to do. He overthrew Satan and banished sin once and for all. Now, for the first time since the Garden of Eden, man can cross the great divide between Heaven and Earth. Now, for the first time since Adam's sin, man can lay down his burden of sin, and need never lift it up again. This is because when he lays his burden at the foot of the cross, it is absorbed and disappears.

The work of Jesus on the cross was a complete work! It was accomplished for ALL men everywhere, and for all times. No one need be exempt, who comes to the Cross. The past is forgiven, all of it. This is not just past sins of the individual, but all the sin that has caused the separation of men into races and cultures, with all their various divides. All that keeps mankind apart from his brothers and sisters, all that causes wars and divisions, all that causes sickness, pain and suffering, are now forgiven and dealt with, through the Cross! All that is left is for all mankind to enter into, and claim, the freedom for himself and his family, for his nation and his neighbour. Through Jesus, mankind CAN live at peace with all men. Jesus is not just for Christians, or white westerners, but He is My Son and is for ALL men and women everywhere. I love you.

Stand Firm for Me

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for the powerful witness of the Passion Play yesterday. Please speak in power to all who saw it. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. I do indeed use the Passion Play to speak, and be a witness to many people. I also use it as a way to draw My real Church together. In the coming together of many people, from all the denominations, new friendships are born, and new opportunities for the gospel to be shared. Just taking a part in such a production can deeply affect the faith of those who act.

What does grieve me greatly is the interference by institutional church leaders in works of Mine, bishops and archdeacons, who see works of My Holy Spirit as a threat to their authority! It is happening all over the church, but such action will not prevail over the works that are Mine. Pray for those who I am speaking to, and revealing My will to. Pray that they will recognise it as My voice, and will be clear in their discernment. Pray that they will be bold for Me and walk in the path I have prepared for them to walk in. Pray also for the church leaders who oppose My Spirit, and trample on the new life I am giving to the dry and parched land. Pray that they will discern My will, and be prepared to acknowledge Me. If they refuse, I shall remove my covering from them and they, and their institutions, will crumble and fall. There will be occasions, some very public, when I will move My children to oppose their bishop, when he or she is against Me! This will seem shocking at the time, but My Spirit is moving in these days and nothing must stand in His way.

I continue to call My people out of the wilderness of institutional church life, and into the garden I have planted, where my Spirit flourishes and blossoms in the spiritual lives of many young Christians.

To all My children, I say walk in My way, keep Jesus in the centre of you life, listen to Him and keep watch with Him. Do not be threatened or frightened by the instability of the world, for I am shaking the institutions of men, and bringing to naught the actions of the wicked. At the same time I am raising up men and women who listen to Me, upon whom My Spirit rests. They will prophecy in My name. They will freely share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They will heal the sick and raise the dead, in My name. The established churches that oppose Me will not be able to stand against them, for I am with them. Many in these days will come to me, and lives will be transformed. Many with worldly influence will be saved and will help to change society. I love My children and I am releasing them from bondage, to spread the good news of My freedom and My love.

Pray for forgiveness and pray for your nation. Pray for your leaders and pray for those with worldly power, that they will surrender to Me and allow Me to advise and guide them in the use of that power, for those who oppose Me I will remove!

Children let your light and your righteousness shine brightly before men, that all will be drawn by the light into My presence, and see Jesus, who I have lifted up before all men. I love you.

Good Friday Passion

Me: Good morning Lord. Please be with those who are performing the Passion this morning. Help them and let this act be a powerful witness to all those who see it. Also bless those who will walk the walk of witness today, and all who hear about you.

Lord: Good morning son. I love these performances, whatever form they take, because they spark the imagination of men and women everywhere, and speak far more powerfully of the gospel, than hours of sermons.

Reading: 1 Samuel 4-6

The penalties for looking upon the Ark of the Covenant were set in place by me to be a lesson in respecting My holiness. You only have to glance at what I had done for Israel in delivering them from Egypt, in caring for them in the wilderness, then in occupying the land, to see that I was moving with them in mighty power. Under Eli they had become too familiar with Me, and taken Me for granted!

I am the Lord Almighty. I bow to no man. All things in the Heavens and on the Earth, are made by Me, and are therefore subject to Me. That is why I am holy and should be respected and revered in the heart of every man. But the heart of man is rebellious and hard, and he has filled the God-shaped hole in the centre of his existence, with self and man-made images. Mankind will not return to Me, if I let this situation continue!

Because I am God, and I really care about My creation, I cannot abandon man to the results of his sin! I want him to return to me, to be saved. For this reason I sent my Son Jesus into the world, to deal with sin, once and for all. There was no other way than Passion Week, to deal with sin.

Sin had to be dealt with by Me, not by man. For man there is no escape from sin. For Jesus, sin could not hold Him, because He alone, born of a woman, was without sin. Original sin passes down from Adam, the first man. Even Eve was a descendant of Adam, in that she was taken, and cloned, from Him. Jesus however, was not descended from Adam, for it was by the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit that Mary conceived him. I am His Father, not Adam, or a descendant of Adam,s!

Once Jesus had dealt with the sin issue, by dying on the cross, I made it possible for anyone, yes, any man woman or child born of Adam, to come to me, through the work Jesus had done. The Cross of Jesus is, in every sense of the word, a bridge, over which man may cross, and come back into My will. It is the Jesus who died upon that Cross, that must occupy that God-shaped space in the heart of every man. It is only when Jesus has His rightful place in the centre of your life, that you can gaze on anything that is holy. This is why Moses could come into My presence, and could touch the tablets on which I had written with My own finger, and live! If I were to reveal the Ark of the Covenant to man today, only those whose hearts are Jesus-centred, and are right with Me, could approach. What I have made holy, remains holy for all eternity, which is why, throughout the dark ages of man I have kept certain things from the eyes of man, until He is right with me, and ready to look into My face.

Effective Prayer

Lord: Prayer is a very powerful tool for the Christian to wield. I want you to encourage all My children to enter more whole heartedly into prayer!
 

Prayer is not about instructing Me, or informing Me about needs and situations. I know everything and I know all mankind and all his needs, long before he knows about them himself or even dares to ask Me.

Much of what is taught about prayer and methods of prayer is elementary, and geared to get children into a habit of prayer. But it is also largely detached from the relationship with Me aspect. Children and adults alike are taught to pray in a detached way. Many grow up believing that the once-a-month, or at best once-a-week, diet of community prayer 'in church' is all that is required. Sadly, a very high percentage of such prayer is unbelieving and half-hearted, and thus virtually ineffective. I won't even say it's better than nothing, because it is so luke-warm that I find it distasteful and would spew it out of my mouth. Oh I don't reject it all, for even in the greyest area of prayer, there are pure thoughts, pure hopes, and heart-felt desires, but this is not the sort of prayer that is going to change the world, or bring in the Kingdom! To do that you need dynamic prayer!

Q.    So, what is dynamic prayer?

A.    Well son, dynamic prayer begins with a love relationship with Me! In order to make the sort of dramatic changes in the world, you have to talk to the Creator who designed and made everything. The reason for this, is that the changes needed to bring My kingdom in, require the undoing of centuries of wrong teaching , deceit, and mis-direction. The human heart has been corrupted and beguiled by the Evil One, and needs healing and repairing. This is a job that can only be carried out by Me. It is a job for love!

Take an example: In human society, if an individual wants to change society, he has to work his way into the political system, and come under the eye of those who wield power. Becoming a friend and colleague of the Prime Minister, means that you are able to talk to him about the things that are dear to your 'political' heart. Learning about the process of decision-making, and catching the wider picture, helps you to see what changes are required, and are best for society. This takes a lot of effort and cannot be effective if you are uncommitted or half-hearted.

If that is true in a human political arena, it is also true for the Christian. To change the world and bring in the Kingdom, you need to get to know the Creator of all things, as a friend!

Did you realise that it is easier to get to know Me than it is to get to know the Prime Minister? Well, it is! The big difference is, that I want to be known, and I want to be your close friend, more than the Prime Minister does. And even better, I am available to you 24-7!

However, as in the human political arena, to understand the situation and catch the wider picture, a great deal of effort is needed. You need to spend time in conversation with me,  listening and asking questions. Our prayer relationship must move on from, 'Dear God, please bless Mummy and Daddy..... ," to a more adult conversation, in which we engage each other in deep conversation, about the necessary big issues that need to be dealt with. As I have told you before, I do not withhold anything My children need, and as a father is pleased when his children seek his help and understanding, so I am pleased when you engage with Me and I can teach you!

This sort of intercourse requires a commitment of time and attention and cannot be achieved by a once a month or once a week brief encounter. It requires regular practical workshop sessions and classroom work. Oh I'm not talking about a college course or a university degree, I am talking about time spent with me. watching me at work, learning how to, and when to, use the tools and gifts I want to give you.

This is why I have, over the last few years, built up our relationship from one of comparative strangers to close friends, from a short daily quiet-time, to a much longer period of deep conversation, Bible reading, wider reading and study, through to journaling. This is your training for the next stage, which is the real field-work of bringing in the Kingdom.

Field work is not sending you out on your own. Field work is going out into the mission field with Me, and doing the things I direct you to do. It is far more effective and much safer that trying to do it on your own. Son, I never send any of my servants out on their own. I am always with you. Even when Michael or Gabriel go out from the throne room on an errand for Me, they do not go alone. I am with them as I am with you.

Real, effective prayer is pro-active, fully engaged and fully involved, full-time communication with your very best friend, Me. I want our relationship to be deeper than a friendship, for I love you and I want you to love Me.
