Prayer for Victory

Vision: I saw the British Isles laid out before me, as if seen from a point high above the Welsh border. The whole land was clear to see and the coastline sharply defined. As I looked around in all directions, I could see there was movement on the face of the land. At first I thought it was random movement, but then a clear pattern emerged, and I realised the movement was towards certain centres. The major movement was towards London, coming from all directions, and there was major movement towards Cardiff and Edinburgh. These were the main centres of movement. Other centres of movement were scattered all over the land. At first, although clear to see, and well defined, the land looked dark and foreboding, but as the movement towards these centres progressed, the centres themselves took on lighter colour, which spread out from them, and slowly changed the overall colour of the land, from dark to light, from being a sort of muddy brown, to being fresh and vibrant green.

Me: Lord what is it I see? Who is on the move, and what is the meaning of this vision?

Lord: What you see is, not as you suppose, a movement of people across the land; it is a movement of prayer and focus. Let's first deal with the three main focal points, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh. These are the main seats of political power in the land, and the first major areas where a turning to Me is required. They are also the main centres of influence, not just in these islands, but throughout the world. The movement you see towards these centres is a focus of prayer not yet seen in the land, towards the political power houses. Politicians have lost their way and do not have the answers needed to pull the country round. No party has the answer, and even the pooled resources of a coalition, do not have what it will need to reverse the wealth and prosperity of this nation. There is however an answer. It has been there all along and I have many times given you and many others, the pointers needed to find the way. Because the present world wide political and financial melt-down is of My making, and sent upon the nations at My command, the only answer to the problem is for nations, yes, nations, to turn to Me and ask Me for My help! All the austerity measures, or anti-austerity measures, will amount to nothing, because on both sides the poorest people will suffer and at the end of the day, evil and corruption will flourish! Only by turning to Me, and acknowledging My sovereignty, can I begin to help, for it is in that surrender that I can work, and transform and heal the land. The only way for this to come about is by focused and concentrated prayer from Christians all over the land, directed at these three seats of power, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh. I want my Church to declare times of prayer for government and politicians. Pray for them, that they will surrender to Me! Do not stop praying for them.

The second focus of movement in the vision is towards the universities and places of learning throughout the land, especially those who influence and teach the teachers! In spite of many of these centres of learning being proclaimed as places of excellence, there has been such a turning away from Me, they are no longer places of excellence but dens of lies and untruths. Many have become strongholds of Satan, and some openly promote evil practices that are contrary to My commandments. Focus and concentrate prayer upon these places of learning, praying for a turning back to Me, so that I may become the teacher, and not the exile! Remember the universities and colleges that teach theology, for even they are not honouring Me, and are trying to bend My truth to fit the demands of man. Pray for a return to the Word I have given. At the moment I hardly recognise their teaching as theology. Pray for a return to Jesus as Lord!

As the places of power, and the places of learning and teaching are saturated in focused prayer, lives will change dramatically, and the colour of the country will change, as individuals turn to me and change. As they in turn spread their influence, the colour of the nation will change from muddy dying, to vibrant life. As the nations prays, and seeks My face, I will turn from the path I had set, and will show them the path to righteousness and growth.

The new path of growth I have determined for the nation is not based upon the city of London and its financial institutions, which have all been shown to have feet of clay, but is based upon My economy of love. Many will laugh at this, just as many laughed at Noah in the days before the flood, but only Noah and seven others were saved! I am not asking anyone to convince others; I shall do that. I am calling My people to Prayer for Victory. I love you. Come to Me.

Act of Righteousness

Lord: The story of Abigail is the story of how I saved and redeemed a nasty situation. She was a righteous woman, caught in an arranged, loveless marriage to a man who wasn't worthy of her. In her righteous act of sending gifts to David to avert his wrath over the insult her husband had heaped on him, she diverted his wrath and kept him from acting without consulting Me. His reward, and her salvation, were both satisfied when he asked her to be his wife. You see her security was all tied up in her marriage. If David had attacked and killed all the males in her household, she would have been left with no security and in contempt of David and everyone else. She would probably have ended up as a slave. Even if her husband died of natural causes her fate would rest with whoever inherited his estates, as they had no children. That would mean someone of her husband's choosing and of like mind to him. Her fate would be to become the wife of an equally obnoxious man, or to be turned out of her home, penniless. So, because of her act of righteousness, David met her and saw her in a good light. He fell in love with her and she with him. When she was freed by the sudden death of her husband, David sent to her and she became his wife. Thus her situation was redeemed.

    I see every act of righteousness and I honour every deed done in love. There is no situation that I cannot redeem. I have proved that with the Cross. Even the hardness of man's heart can be softened! All the problems of the nations today can be solved overnight, yes, overnight, by that nation turning to Me and asking forgiveness! A national day of prayer for the nation, called by national leaders and backed by all the churches, would restore this nation of yours overnight.

    Keep these things before you, and pray for the moving of My Spirit in your land. I am with you and I am listening and waiting for those prayers of repentance. 

    “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Effective Prayer

Lord: Prayer is a very powerful tool for the Christian to wield. I want you to encourage all My children to enter more whole heartedly into prayer!
 

Prayer is not about instructing Me, or informing Me about needs and situations. I know everything and I know all mankind and all his needs, long before he knows about them himself or even dares to ask Me.

Much of what is taught about prayer and methods of prayer is elementary, and geared to get children into a habit of prayer. But it is also largely detached from the relationship with Me aspect. Children and adults alike are taught to pray in a detached way. Many grow up believing that the once-a-month, or at best once-a-week, diet of community prayer 'in church' is all that is required. Sadly, a very high percentage of such prayer is unbelieving and half-hearted, and thus virtually ineffective. I won't even say it's better than nothing, because it is so luke-warm that I find it distasteful and would spew it out of my mouth. Oh I don't reject it all, for even in the greyest area of prayer, there are pure thoughts, pure hopes, and heart-felt desires, but this is not the sort of prayer that is going to change the world, or bring in the Kingdom! To do that you need dynamic prayer!

Q.    So, what is dynamic prayer?

A.    Well son, dynamic prayer begins with a love relationship with Me! In order to make the sort of dramatic changes in the world, you have to talk to the Creator who designed and made everything. The reason for this, is that the changes needed to bring My kingdom in, require the undoing of centuries of wrong teaching , deceit, and mis-direction. The human heart has been corrupted and beguiled by the Evil One, and needs healing and repairing. This is a job that can only be carried out by Me. It is a job for love!

Take an example: In human society, if an individual wants to change society, he has to work his way into the political system, and come under the eye of those who wield power. Becoming a friend and colleague of the Prime Minister, means that you are able to talk to him about the things that are dear to your 'political' heart. Learning about the process of decision-making, and catching the wider picture, helps you to see what changes are required, and are best for society. This takes a lot of effort and cannot be effective if you are uncommitted or half-hearted.

If that is true in a human political arena, it is also true for the Christian. To change the world and bring in the Kingdom, you need to get to know the Creator of all things, as a friend!

Did you realise that it is easier to get to know Me than it is to get to know the Prime Minister? Well, it is! The big difference is, that I want to be known, and I want to be your close friend, more than the Prime Minister does. And even better, I am available to you 24-7!

However, as in the human political arena, to understand the situation and catch the wider picture, a great deal of effort is needed. You need to spend time in conversation with me,  listening and asking questions. Our prayer relationship must move on from, 'Dear God, please bless Mummy and Daddy..... ," to a more adult conversation, in which we engage each other in deep conversation, about the necessary big issues that need to be dealt with. As I have told you before, I do not withhold anything My children need, and as a father is pleased when his children seek his help and understanding, so I am pleased when you engage with Me and I can teach you!

This sort of intercourse requires a commitment of time and attention and cannot be achieved by a once a month or once a week brief encounter. It requires regular practical workshop sessions and classroom work. Oh I'm not talking about a college course or a university degree, I am talking about time spent with me. watching me at work, learning how to, and when to, use the tools and gifts I want to give you.

This is why I have, over the last few years, built up our relationship from one of comparative strangers to close friends, from a short daily quiet-time, to a much longer period of deep conversation, Bible reading, wider reading and study, through to journaling. This is your training for the next stage, which is the real field-work of bringing in the Kingdom.

Field work is not sending you out on your own. Field work is going out into the mission field with Me, and doing the things I direct you to do. It is far more effective and much safer that trying to do it on your own. Son, I never send any of my servants out on their own. I am always with you. Even when Michael or Gabriel go out from the throne room on an errand for Me, they do not go alone. I am with them as I am with you.

Real, effective prayer is pro-active, fully engaged and fully involved, full-time communication with your very best friend, Me. I want our relationship to be deeper than a friendship, for I love you and I want you to love Me.

The Brotherhood of Man

Lord: Do not make judgements about other people, that could in your mind place them outside the Kingdom of Heaven! There are far too many prejudices, that exclude men and women from being accepted into the body of Christ, from man's point of view. As far as the evangelist is concerned, all men, women and children of every race, clime or creed, are to me reached by the Gospel and should be treated equally.

I created the human race from one created man. Male and female, both came from the first man Adam. Ignorant man can argue as much as he likes about this, but it does not alter the facts one little tiny bit. I created man out of the basic building blocks of the earth that I had created. There was no previous hierarchy, no previous evolutionary chain, stretching back into a past which never existed. When I created man, he was created man and has remained man throughout the ages. A man today could father a child from Eve, and a woman today could be a mother to Adam's child. This is an immovable fact. Therefore all men and women alive today are brothers and sisters, and direct and equal descendants of Adam and Eve. Nothing man can say will ever change that. Hold on to it.

Many of your brothers and sisters have been brought up in a totally different, and almost alien, culture from yours. Some of the races of man have been isolated from their brothers and sisters, and now behave differently and hold different standards and values. This does not devalue them or make then sub-human! All men are equal. Some races of man have been subject to the influence of evil for generations, and are taught evil ways from birth. This does not make the men and women caught in that culture sub-human, or outside the reach of the gospel. Indeed the gospel is desperately needed by them!

No man, woman or child shall be excluded from the Kingdom of Heaven because you, or any one else, don't like them! When sharing the good news of the Kingdom, personal likes and dislikes are to be handed over to Me. You see son, I love every man I have ever made! Yes I even loved Hitler, Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi! I didn't love what they did or represented, but I loved them and longed for them to turn to Me for salvation. My heart breaks every time someone rejects My love.

Before My Church dares point the finger of condemnation upon any walk of man, let them first look to their own position. I have entrusted my precious Gospel of Jesus My Son, into the hands of My Church, people who claim to be followers of Mine. But I do not see the Church taking the lead in the moral issues of the day! I do not see them reaching out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations, who are starving, war-torn, and ravaged! I do not see the Christian Gospel filling the void left by the collapse of Islam! Yes, there are individuals and small congregations, who are doing their best, and I love them for it, but where are the main establishments, the recognised denominations? I do not hear their voices above the din!

I want my people everywhere to turn to me and repent. Pray for the world, pray for the nation, pray for your town or village. Pray for your church, your leaders and your politicians. Pray for those who are lost. Remember, all men are mine, all men are brothers, all men can be reached and saved. I love them and I want you to love them too. Stand up and shout with one voice, "Jesus IS Lord!"

Water on Dry Ground

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning, and for this new and beautiful day. Lord please help me today to stay close to you, and to be open to you for inspiration, to continue to write my book.

Lord: Good morning son. Welcome to the club this morning and thank you for joining us. I want you to look again at the glimpse I gave you as you prayed this morning. What did you see?

Vision: Lord, I saw a wilderness, an area of barren land. Barren that is, by virtue of the fact that nothing seemed to be growing there. It was well-trodden land, where rain, when it falls' would gather in large puddles. It had an air of neglect. Though the vision I saw was only of the one plot, it had the feeling that it went on and on for hundreds of miles, with little, if anything, growing. I was praying, Lord, as I saw it, and as I continued praying, I saw beautiful wild flowers springing up out of the ground! Strong, healthy plants with many beautiful colours and species. It was like magic, for in the instant I saw and perceived the barren waste and took it in, I saw the mature flowers appear out of nothing!

Lord: The barren waste is the world of men. It is barren because they have turned away from Me, and are bent on pursuing the way of life that leads to death and destruction. Every year I send the water of My love on the world, like rain on the desert, and every year I look for growth, but all I see is My abundance standing around like great puddles of water, unused and unvalued. Then I heard your prayer, faltering and slow, but I knew it came from your heart, and that you want to be close to Me. Martin, I was able to use the prayer you uttered, almost without knowing what you were uttering, and use it to allow the water of My Spirit, to reach the seeds that were lying dormant under the wilderness. Under such barren conditions, it only takes a drop of water, and a few hours, to bring the desert places alive with colour and life.

In these days, I have allowed a great barrenness to encroach in the world, as the hearts of men grow cold to Me, and complacent about the creation I have given them. As they have seen and exploited the earth, raping it of its wealth and beauty, they have ignored Me. They believed in their hearts, that it was through the strength of their arms, the cleverness of their minds, that they have accumulated great wealth. They have become blind to those around them, as their lust for power, and greed for material things, has become like a consuming fire. This lust and greed is now no longer a personal problem of a few; it has consumed whole nations and continents. Man believes he can continue to accumulate goods, and build wealth, and that healthy economies are those which always expand.

However, in ignoring Me, they have lost the plot completely, and have failed to recognise that all men are part of the great family of mankind. They have become blind to the man next door and the starving, naked children they exploit, in their pursuit of the "almighty pound or dollar". Man has even stooped so low as to neglect his own children, parents and family, in the pursuit of self satisfaction!

Even now, I am stripping away the golden plating of life, and causing a mildew to settle on the fine clothes and materials that are seen by so many as essentials. Structures and institutions are crumbling, and many things that were considered as immovable and eternal, are being shifted by the tide and flood I am sending. I am not sending, and allowing this to happen, in order to destroy mankind. On the contrary, I am sending and allowing it, in order to destroy the false values that are in themselves destroying man.

Before the present crisis in society became apparent to man, I began to raise up my true Church. I started with the established Churches and recognised Christian fellowships. I called and I moved, I beckoned and I manoeuvred, and many people, and sometimes whole fellowships, have responded. Sadly, and I mean that from the bottom of My heart of love, sadly many have remained intransigent. They have resisted Me, and refused My Spirit access. Some of the churches that were called by my name have been infiltrated by, and taken over by, those who do not know Me, and are opposed to My rule. From them I am calling My people out! Through the prayers of My faithful people, I am about to make the wilderness bloom again. This new blooming will not be based upon the foundations of the past, which are the cause of human poverty and pain, but upon the foundations I have laid down, since the foundation of the Earth. The economy of the new blooming will not be based upon the present, failed currencies, of the world today, but will be firmly founded in love for one another, tenderness and generosity.

I am going to cause the wilderness to bloom again, not with fields of one crop next to another field of a different crop, but of one great area of beautiful, exotic and varied wild blooms. Just as the meadows abound with wild flowers, so I want My Church to spread over all the world, not as Catholic, Protestant or Charismatic, but as My people moved by My Holy Spirit, fulfilled and grown to the full stature and beauty I intend for everyone.

Pray that all my people everywhere will wake up and blossom, like the flowers in the wilderness after the rain. I will pour water of those who are thirsty. I will pour rain on the dry ground. I will give life, to those who were thought to be dead. I will be glorified in all My Creation. I love you.

Heal My People

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new and beautiful day. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us this morning and for your company and conversation. We love talking to you in the morning, and still have much to teach you!

Me: Lord, what has happened to the gifts of healing that featured so prominently in the many revivals down the centuries, and was so much a part of the New Testament Church? Lord I would love to be used more in this gift!

Lord: Son, I am healing people all the time and have done so since the earliest days. I built into man's body the ability to repair all the damage done by disease and injury, and the ability to adapt and counter the effects of pollution and deliberate, self-inflicted damage, such as smoking and drinking. The main problem today is the sheer volume of abuse, causing the body's defences to require reinforcements. However, whatever reinforcements are sent, they will not overcome the level of continued abuse. For example, once smoking or drinking has done the preliminary damage, the resulting escalation of damage is far greater than the natural repair processes can cope with. The only way to arrest the decline naturally, is to first stop the abuse, smoking or drinking, and then a concentrated course of healing treatments, to reinforce the body's natural resources. That's natural healing!

The second issue is that of mindset. Modern teaching is very influential in preventing people from asking me for help! Evolutionary ideas have undermined the basic belief, that God can heal. It has done this very subtly, by teaching that the basic truths of the Bible have been surpassed by science, which clearly shows that there is no supernatural power at work in the world today. It constantly affirms that the only help mankind has against sickness and disease, is through modern chemical-controlled medicine. This has been reinforced by the huge investment in the pharmaceutical industry, which is not controlled by a desire to heal, but by money. This is especially true in the States, but is equally true in Europe. While the doctors and the patients look first to drug-dominated science, there is no place for seeking other answers. Alas, the church is equally guilty in falling for this, and has abandoned my command to the disciples, to go into all the world and heal the sick, and raise the dead.

Today the sick only turn to me, when it is obvious that modern chemical and drug therapy has failed, and they are sent 'home to die!' There is also a great deal of teaching in the church, that it is right and proper to listen to the doctor first, because science and medicine know best! This is the same in so many fields, not just health and medicine. It is all part of the sin of Adam, in choosing to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If he had only waited for Me, and not disobeyed my command I would have completed his education and shown him how to live and stay healthy!

To be effective in healing and wholeness today, as in any age, you must first have a relationship with Me. I am the Designer and Creator of everything that is made. When something goes wrong with the body, for any reason whatsoever, I know its cause and I know its remedy. I do not, and never have, kept the information to myself. It is not a secret and it should not, and cannot be, patented.

Therefore, step one is to still yourself before Me and seek My face. This requires you to switch your thinking from the left-side of your brain to the right-side, from the reasoned to the intuitive, from the world-conscious to the spiritually-conscious.

Wait there and let me fill your mind with My thoughts and My images, and let Me guide your thinking. As my thoughts fill your mind, they will wash out the clutter of worldly thoughts and ideas and open a channel for My power to flow through you, into the one who needs healing.

My Son told his disciples, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." John 14:12. Therefore you must be ready to do the things that Jesus did, and be open to do even more, not in your own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes through the Spirit, I will direct you to say something profound and to the point. Jesus said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” Matthew 9.

Sometimes I will direct you to a specific action. When he had thus spoken, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay... John 9

Sometimes you must seek out those I direct you to. Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for a feast of the Jews. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. Here a great number of disabled people used to lie- the blind, the lame, the paralysed. One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, Do you want to get well? Sir, the invalid replied, I have no-one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me. Then Jesus said to him, Get up! Pick up your mat and walk. At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. John 5.

Sometimes you will find that they will seek you out! And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. Matthew 9.

My Son did not tell you to say to the sick, "Oh, I had better go away and think about this one; I don't want you to be disappointed." Nor did he say, "I can't pray for you because you haven't repented or are not good enough." Jesus did His work of love, and added the conditions afterwards. For example, the woman caught in the act of adultery could have been stoned to death, for the Law condemned her. However Jesus confounded her accusers.“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” John 8:11.

The last example I have given you points to the next thing you should know about healing. My divine healing encompasses, not only physical diseases and injuries, but also healing of the mind, the soul, and the situation. Man is trapped by many things, of which illness injury and disease are the most obvious. Many are ailed by a world view, an attitude, a state of mind, their hurts as a child and the sins of their fathers and mothers. All kinds of negative experiences can cause sickness, of both the body and the mind. No scan of the brain or body will reveal it, but it is as real as a stab in the back!

Many a traumatic event such as a betrayal by a loved one, a divorce, a rape, even a car accident, can cause the onset of cancer. Many medical people will acknowledge this, and even probe to find the cause, but few will begin by dealing with that hurt. The reason for this is that it is a spiritual need. Only love and forgiveness can even begin to heal that hurt, and both come from Me! Divorcing the spiritual life from the physical life is to deny healing. Both should be operating as one.

As one who wishes to become a channel of healing, you will need to be sensitive to all aspects of healing, and be ready to follow the leadings I give you, as you still yourself before me, and tune into my spiritual awareness.

The final area I want to deal with today is touch. Jesus used the laying on of hands frequently. It is a very important part of healing. First however, I want you to let go of any thought that one person transfers the healing across to another, like some sort of magic. Yes, there is a spiritual energy that is shared, as people join together through touch. It is called blessing and goes back to the first days of Genesis. I blessed all that I made, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the Earth." I touched creation with life. This blessing was passed from Adam to his sons, and from them to the next generation and so on down to the present age. I doesn't happen formally so much today, but fathers and mothers today still pass on to their children blessings and curses. I want them to only pass on the blessings. Blessing your children is a touch experience, for a child knows it is loved when its own father or mother holds it tight.

Because there have been so many curses passed down from generation to generation, there are many today who have never felt that warmth of knowing they are loved. Many of man's ailments and diseases are a result of a lack of love. It is therefore important that love is demonstrated through touch. Holding someone's hand across the table as they cry, speaks thousands of words. Standing behind someone in pain and gently touching their shoulder is a powerful way of sharing their pain.

But touch has another purpose, and that is to focus the healing flow from Me, to the sick person. Let Me show you, for each person, where and when to touch them. Always do so prayerfully and respectfully, for what you will for that person is the blessing or the curse that you pass on to them.

If the sick person can be still in body and mind before Me, it certainly helps, but it is not essential. Their state of mind is part of the healing, so let me lead you, and deal with all aspects.

Son, always be aware that there are occasions when I say, "No," to you healing someone. This is not because I do not love them or want them to receive from me, but I know best, when is the right moment and what are the right circumstances, and who I want to use to deliver the healing! It is however, always right for you to bless!

There is a whole area of healing I have not touched today, that of deliverance healing, those occasions, when demons and possession are involved. These I will deal with in detail, on another occasion. I am calling my people to be involved in My ministry of healing and deliverance today. I am calling them to bring My Kingdom into the world, to dispel the darkness of unbelief. I am calling you all to bless and not to curse. I love you.

Love what I love

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us this morning and for listening and sharing. We love you too.

My dear children, to become the people I want you to be, you must first lay down the things that I hate, then take up the things that I love!

I hate anger, greed, selfishness and aggression. I hate injustice, oppression, exploitation and lust. I love justice, self sacrifice, and peace. I honour those who stand up to sin and protect the weak and the raise up the fallen. I help those who feed the hungry, clothe the naked and bind up the wounds of the injured. I speak through those whose message is peace and reconciliation. I give power to those who spread the good news of Jesus.

Children, the days are upon you when many will come from the east and the west, the north and the south, and will cling to you, and beg you to tell them how to find Me! Do not shake them off, or turn them away, for I have sent them to you! Lift up your eyes to the heavens, rejoice with a loud voice and tell your story. Tell them of the Saviour, and of the loving purposes I intend for all who come to me. Do not be afraid to speak my name, for it is through the name of Jesus, that men are saved. There is no other name under heaven, whereby men are saved!

Tell of my love, and show them how to hear my voice, and draw into my presence. Stretch out your hands and heal the sick, clothe the naked, feed the hungry, and rebuild the broken in body and spirit, with my encouraging words.

Let my light shine through you and let your light shine.

Children, do not focus upon the depressing and the gloomy, but lift your eyes and focus upon Me. See the things I am doing and the goal to which you must strive. See, I have set before you a vision of beauty and light, with the sounds of children laughing and playing, the birds singing and the sounds of a nature at harmony with itself and in Me. See the things of beauty I am showing you, and hold them always before you. Hold also before you the vision of man at peace with man, and nation with nation. Keep it before you, even when the 'reality' around you defies what I am showing you. Make that vision yours and make it a reality in your life.

Pray for those who hate, and do evil. Pray My power will break into their sealed lives, setting them free! Pray for peace between nations, and pray for those who are even now fighting for freedom from oppression. My will is that all men and women everywhere, those who know me and those who don't, will live in peace with one-another, in freedom from all oppression, and with true justice and righteousness as their standard. These things can only come about through Jesus, who has bought them with his own blood.

I love you. Share my love with all around you.

Rebuild My Temple

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for all the joy of the Nativity and for a lovely day yesterday. Keep us Lord in the centre of your will, that we may do what is right and pleasing in your sight. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us this morning and for walking with us, I love you too.

This is what the Lord the Almighty says to the leaders and people of the nation:

I want you to give careful thought to all your actions and all your deeds. Over the past seven decades of peace you have planted more grain than any nation before you, yet, for all your work, you have harvested little. In those decades your food has been more plentiful than ever before in history, so that even the poor are well fed. Although you feed until you become gross and bloated, you never seem to have enough. You consume more fine wine and exotic drinks than the kings of old ever even dreamed of, yet you are never satisfied, or have your fill. You clothe yourselves in the finest garments, and nothing is too grand for you, yet you are never warm, or grand enough. Even your most modest wardrobe is grander than that of the kings and princes in days gone by, yet you are not kings, nor are kings or princes mindful of you! Individually you receive wages and bonuses, that would have amounted to the GNP of a whole nation in the years of your forefathers. Yet you place it in purses with holes in, and you invest in the folly of bankers, and with fools!

This is what the Lord Almighty says to you:

Give careful thought to your ways, for I am calling you to give an account of your stewardship! Give thought to why I have poured out upon you such riches and luxuries. Now look upon the temple of your heart. Your heart was given to you to be my temple, the place where I, the Lord your God, might dwell within you. How hard it is for me to enter that temple within you, while it is filled with the loathsome idols of greed, selfishness and lust!

My house shall be called 'A house of prayer for all the nations', and your hearts must become 'the temple of the Holy Spirit!'

The time has come my children, for a cleansing and rebuilding project. For if I am to heal and save you as a nation, My temple must be established in the midst of you.

See how I have blown away with the breath of my mouth, the idols that you have so long worshipped. They are gone like ash blown by a draught, like leaves caught by the autumn wind! The wealth of the nation, built on the greed of men, I have scattered. The harvest of the carelessly scattered seed I have ruined, and the fine silks and suits of wool and cotton I have handed over to moths! I have called for a deluge to cleanse the once fertile land, and for drought to dry up the flowing rivers, that water the ground. I have called upon the four winds to blow upon the Earth and I shake even the tallest mountains and the deepest seas. Man-made dynasties are falling, and rulers shake with fear. These calamities that I have rained upon the Earth, will remain, until my temple is rebuilt in your hearts, and my word is sown freely upon the Earth.

Stop building your own houses and lining your own beds. Turn back to me and rebuild in your hearts the temple of the Lord the Holy Spirit. Gather the stones of prayer and the timber of My word. Collect the fabric of righteousness and the gold and silver of generosity and love. Build and furnish My temple that it may be a palace for King Jesus to sit. Bring Him your offerings, the first fruits of your praise and worship, for He alone is worthy to be praised, for by His blood, shed on the Cross, He has set men free from the bondages of sin.

The time for secrecy is over, the time of the great conspiracy of silence, is past. The fiery dragon of fear has been overcome by your Saviour. Rise up, men and women of God, and build God's temple in your hearts.  Proclaim with a loud voice, "Jesus is Lord!" Let the arches of Heaven resound with your shouts of praise.

No more shall my people be ruled by the god of money, or silenced by the god of political correctness. I am the Lord your provider. I have placed My Word in your mouth, for you to speak without let or hindrance. "I am the Lord your God, you shall have no gods before me!" I love you.

Yes, the message of Revelation to the Churches applies very clearly to the Church today.

The word I spoke to the Church at Sardis is particularly relevant. For though many congregations have a reputation for being 'alive' and 'lively', they are in fact dead, because all their 'life' is in deeds of busy-ness. Prayer, and building a relationship with me are unheard of, and very few really listen to me anymore. To you I say, Wake up! Strengthen what remains before that also dies. Hold on to my truth and repent now. Remember what you first received from me, and the words you heard that brought you life. Repent and seek my face, that I may wash you clean, and clothe you in white

There are those who still walk with me and have not soiled their clothes. As they walk with me, they are clothed in white for they are worthy. Their names are written in the book of life and will never be blotted out.

The words I spoke to the church in Laodicea, telling them that they were neither hot nor cold, is true of many congregations and fellowships throughout the land. I do not want a lukewarm Church; I want all my people to be on fire for me, and to be so hot that they give warmth to those around them. Open your eyes children, and see that you are no longer rich and have no need, but are indeed poor wretched, blind and naked! I am telling you this, so that you may come back to me. Buy gold from me refined in the fire, so that you can be really rich. Let me clothe you in the robe of righteousness, to cover your shame and nakedness, a white robe, that only I can give. Let me anoint your eyes with a salve that will restore your sight.

I love you, therefore I rebuke you, that you may repent and seek my face. I am knocking on the door of your life If anyone hears me, and opens the door, I will come in, and we will eat together. I long for you all to be victorious, so that you can sit with me on my throne.

Do not look any more at Revelation as being locked in the past. The days are past when a study of this book focuses on the historical. It is prophetic, and speaks directly into the situation today. Until this time the door of understanding has been shut, and what I shut remains shut until I open it again. Today I am opening many doors in scripture, and unlocking the truths that have laid hidden for centuries. I am opening those doors to my Church, because the time is drawing near when all things will be gathered together. Keep alert, watch and pray. I am with you always and I love you.

Revelation today!

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for our time together and for spending the time talking with me. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Welcome to the club this morning and for joining us as we walked. We love your company in the mornings and are always ready to talk with you, because we love you too.

As you come to Revelation in your cycle of Bible readings, there is much I want to show you. You see, John practiced hearing my voice much as you do! And I revealed many things to him. There were many more revelations I gave him, but some were not adopted by the early church as scripture. If they had been, the church would not have strayed as far as it did in the first few centuries.

When I spoke to John and showed him many things, both in word and vision, I was continuing the teaching I gave all the disciples when I walked with them in Galilee. If I had spoken then, about the things I later showed him, even John himself would not have understood. For none of the disciples really understood, that I literally meant them, to take the gospel into all the world! For them, "all the world" meant the land in which they lived, the land of their birth, the familiar and that which they understood. None of then expected to go to Rome, Asia, Europe, India or Africa, and none of them had any concept of life away from Judaism!

The same is true today. You hear of, and read about, Christians who take the gospel out to other countries, but few Christians ever dream that that is where I am calling them! Even you, when you first embarked on training for the ministry, believed that you would come back to the St Albans area and get a parish not far from where you were born. Instead I called you to the Celtic lands of the West where I had work for you to do that only you could do.

For all my children who are called by me, listening to my voice, and being open to revelation is vital, if they are to move where I want them to move! It is only when they are in my presence, listening to me, that I can instruct them where to go and what to do. It is not the place of others to tell them. They can and should assist, but the command to go is mine to give!

Many of my children do not hear my instructions, because they are listening to, and tuned in to hear, long term instruction and revelation, when I am trying to give them the next step. Yes, if I am to be Lord of your lives I must instruct you and guide you, every step of the way! When you don't hear the next step, wait! To forge on and assume you know the way can lead to disaster and disappointment. I am the way, follow me!

Often you think I haven't given you the next step, because it doesn't seem to be a natural progression towards your long term aim. The instruction I am giving you, could well be an instruction to deal with an issue that may not seem important now, but which, could easily become a stumbling block over which you fall, in the long term..

“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:

These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. Rev 2:1-5

The Church in Ephesus was righteous and hard working for me, yet there was a small thing that dampened their fire; they had lost that first love which is so important, the spontaneity, the freshness of a new relationship. the sparkle of joy as lovers meet. It was in the way of greater things and prevented them from being where I wanted them to be.

Children, be always open to what I am saying to you. One day it may be a prophecy of great moment, that will change the world. The next, it can be some little thing, that seems so insignificant as to be easily missed, but is that which will turn and change the course of history!

Watch and pray and pay attention to all the things that I say to you. I never say things to catch you out and I never threaten! Even when I prophesied the downfall of nations, I was not threatening them, just telling them what the consequences would be of their actions, or lack of them. The same is true today, even in the "big" matters, like the fall of the world's economies. These things I have caused, in order to show the nations that they need me. The provision is, and always was there, that, "If they turn to me, and away from their wickedness in repentance. I will turn and heal the land." What I do for the individual, I will also do for the nation.

There is still a little time left, for men and women to pray, and turn the situation round. Repent, and pray my Kingdom and my reign into every nation under heaven.

Stand firmly against the small things that are creeping into the laws of the land, which are not of me, and are against the commandments I have given for all men to follow. Hate the sin, and love the sinner! There is no compromise with sin or Satan. Purge the sin from your life, and from the nation, that I may forgive and heal your land.

My heart longs for all men and women to come to me, of their own freewill, and to be healed and set free from all the lies and chains of Satan. I love you all. Come to me!

Now, About Prayer!

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for allowing me to walk with you this morning, and for listening to all my ramblings. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for your company this morning, You know that we love to listen to your ramblings, as you put it. To us they are not jumbled or rambling  but a flood of emotion, desire, love and concern. Because they come from deep within your heart, they are dear to our heart too, and make more sense to us than they ever will to your human mind!

I want to talk to you today some more about prayer. Prayer is the yearning of the human soul for me. It is when man reaches up to me in Heaven and I reach down to man on earth. It is the moment when we touch, and for a moment we become one again. You can't have too much prayer in your life, for it is a pipeline of my love poured out to you.

There are many expressions of prayer, many different ways of reaching out to me. Some require the mind, and for the body are passive. Others are bodily expressions, while the mind is passive. In still others, both the body and the mind are passive and the prayer is purely a spiritual reaching out. It is difficult to teach prayer by a method, because it is an intensely personal encounter with me, and each individual needs to discover that relationship with me for themselves. Prayer can be seen as a courtship of two lovers discovering one another, and just as no two lovers ever express themselves in the same way, so it is with us. It is not important how you pray, only that you do pray. As we commune together, I am able to feed you, and cause the breath I breathed into you that gave you life, to grow,  and make you ready for the day when I shall call you home.

It is vital that you have a time allocated to me during the day, when I can charge your spiritual batteries. But that is only the beginning, for each day you have a shopping list of concerns you want to bring to me and I have a lot of things I want to communicate with you. I am always willing to give you the time to pour out your ramblings to me. Are you willing to give me some time to feed you with all the good things I have for you? By starting each day with space for me, you will find yourself better equipped to handle the problems of the day.

The godless in the world have tried to make it 'politically incorrect' to bring God into the workplace, and in many professions are trying to make it illegal to wear Christian symbols or speak of your Christian faith. In reality no-one has the right to restrict you. Oh it's nothing new! My servants Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, all had to suffer because they deemed their relationship with me more important than the King's edict. Just as I looked after them, so I will look after those who honour me above all worldly rule. This is not a licence for civil disobedience. It applies only to those restrictions that come between you and me. No-one, I repeat no-one, has the right to come between you and me!

If you build up your relationship with me, I will make my voice clear to you and my words will take root in your heart. I will speak to you and guide you each day, and I will instruct you in my ways. When I tell you to speak of me, you will speak, and none shall be able to silence you. Equally, I will show you when to remain silent. My Son remained silent, when one word from him would have silenced the chief priest and elders forever. He spoke the truth when He told Pilate that he could summon ten legions of Angels to his aid. But His relationship with me enabled Him to know when to speak and when to be silent. So it shall be with those who engage in prayer with me.

For those who love me, and want to be in the centre of My will, prayer is not an optional extra to be used only in times of crisis, but an ongoing 24/7 365 days a year relationship with Me. Closer even than the relationship between husband and wife, although it never need come between them. Indeed it should strengthen that relationship as well.

So, my word to my children today is work on your relationship with me, and let me build up our lines of love and communication together. Build up a regular time with me, when we can share together the deep and important things of life. Don't worry about how to pray, just get on with it and find the way we are comfortable with. Tell me often how much you love me, for I love to hear that. In turn I will tell you and show you, how much I love you.

To You, Whom I Have Called!

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Lord I love you so much.

Lord: Good morning son. Welcome to the club this morning and thank you for joining us as we walked. We love you too.

To those whom I am calling to be Shepherds of my people, I would say this: Take the charge I have given you very seriously, for my sheep are everything to me, and I want them all to be safe. Treat them with love and respect, and teach them all that I am teaching you. Do not let your teaching and preaching become cluttered with rules and regulations that do not come from me. As you trust in me, show them how to trust. As you listen to my voice, teach them how to hear me. As you bless them, teach them how to bless others. Avoid divisions, and work for harmony and peace, that the world may see one church, and be drawn to me through you.

To those I am calling to be Evangelists and Preachers, I would say this: Go to those I send you, and share with them the Gospel of my Son Jesus, as it has been faithfully passed down from generation to generation. The Gospel is about people, and sin, and how I have dealt with sin. It is about repentance and salvation. It is a gospel of joy, for it brings salvation, liberation and freedom. It is the greatest message anyone has ever been charged to deliver. I have placed a very great value on its safe delivery. Therefore see to it, that those to whom I send you receive the good news. You are not responsible for what they do with the good news when you deliver it, only for the delivery. My Holy Spirit is already at work, in the hearts of those to whom I send you, preparing their hearts, to receive the message you deliver. Therefore speak with boldness, in Love. Do not dilute the words I give you, but deliver them as I give them to you. I know what I am doing!

To those I am calling to be Prophets, I would say this: Your charge is a very difficult one, for the prophet is rarely welcome in his own home town. Cover yourself in prayer and seek me at all times. As I give you the words, deliver them as I command you. If it is a word of encouragement be sure to follow it through with instruction, and guide people to one of my pastors, who can nourish them and lead them on. If it is a word of rebuke, deliver it in love not anger. Be bold and say only what I give you, no more and no less. Let the Holy Spirit do the rest.

To those I am calling to Intercession, I would say this: Yours is a powerful ministry that few see, but everyone feels. Prayer is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. When you pray, you tap into the creative power that flows from my throne. Revelation calls it the river of life. Through prayer, lives can be transformed, bodies can be healed, souls can be saved, and situations can be reclaimed and redeemed. Every servant of mine working in the front line of the gospel, every pastor and shepherd in charge of my flocks, every prophet speaking my words before men, needs the full-time backing of my intercessors. You are charged with supporting them in you prayers and being ready, day or night, to cover them in prayer. Many times in the front line they experience dangers, both spiritual and physical. That is when I wake up my intercessors, and move them to pray. To them you are like a life-line, enabling them to draw from the river of life the extra strength they need. I would that you keep a journal of those times I call you to intercede. Note the time and date, and the circumstances. This will be an encouragement to you, and to them, as I show you how, when they needed extra help, you acted in prayer!

Children, whatever the ministry to which I have called you, and there are many more I haven't mentioned today, be steadfast and joyful. Your part in the great plan of mine, is of equal importance to me, even when it is a quiet, often hidden task, that few know about. Remember, every army on the move has a supply train, people who order supplies, who cook the food, who man the radio, who service the vehicles, who push paper around an office. They may seem unimportant to those on the front line, but they are essential to the outcome of the battle. So it is with my army, and the battle against sin, the world, and the devil. Every ministry and calling is important, therefore do all things with vigour and joy.

Let the light of my relationship with you, and you with me, shine out from you, and be an inspiration to all those around you. Pray together, sing together and work together. Build my Kingdom on Earth, as I show you how. I love you!

The Word of God is ....

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son, welcome to the club this morning and thank you for walking with us. We love you too.

Me: Lord, I seem to be struggling a bit this morning, please help me to stay close to you. Please keep the Evil One out, and do not allow him to come near me to destroy or harm our relationship. I love you Jesus.

Lord: Son, I am always with you. The Evil One can only draw near to you if you bid him come. However, he does fire arrows at you and it is these you feel at this time. Use your shield to stop the arrows. However sharp they are, the Word of God can blunt them, so they fall ineffective to the ground, and there turn to dust. Use my Name as a prayer whenever you feel attacked in any way. There is more power in my Name, than there is in all the atom bombs ever detonated. I promise you, when you call upon my Name, Satan trembles!
   
Part of your training involves the use of all the gifts I have given you. Scripture is not just words on a page, but both a two-edged sword to cut down and destroy the works of the Evil one, and a shield, with which you can defend yourself against the arrows and darts that are thrown against you. Using it as a shield is a skill I show you by allowing a few small darts to get through. Do not crumple at the first one, but pull it out and see it clearly in the light of Scripture. Then discard it and allow me to heal the wound. If you leave it in, it will fester and become a hindrance to your mission and calling. Stand firm, be strong and very courageous. You do not stand alone, I am with you!

Many of those who stand for me feel alone and weary, sometimes even before they have done anything I have asked them to do! This is because they have forgotten that they are not on rations. Unlike the armies of the world's powers, who are sent out on patrol with meagre rations, my people go out with a pipeline attached, which can feed them continuously. The pipeline has two parts, one for the drink, which is the Word of God, the other for solid food, which is a direct line to Me in prayer.

The Word is with you always if you read it regularly and allow it to become a part of your being. You may find yourself in a situation where you don't have a copy of the written word, but if you have already consumed the word as drink, then it is there within you to nourish you and quench your thirst.

Prayer is a resource that you can tap into at any time, 24/7, 365 days a year. I never sleep and am always ready to hear and answer you prayers. Ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find. Even an arrow prayer, shot up to me in a moment of crisis, can change the course of human history, and many a hurriedly spoken prayer, has saved a man's soul! Do not neglect your conversations with me. They are food for your soul and will sustain you through many a campaign.

So you begin to see that My Word is many things. Like a Swiss army knife, it has many blades and many uses. Learn to use it. It will defend you, protect you, cut a path for you, destroy the words of the Devil, and provide you with the nourishment you need to be able to stand, even when all others have fallen.

Prayer is my lifeline to you. Do not unhitch the line at any time, by neglect of this vital source of communication. Without prayer you will become weak and ineffective. Remember seven days without prayer makes one weak!

Rainbow of Promise

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for our walk together and for being near to me. I love you lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us, and for walking with us this morning. We love you too.

Lift up your eyes, and what do you see?

Me: I see a rainbow Lord, clear and bright. Every colour is distinct, as though it was made of coloured ribbons! It is a perfect arch, with its top touching the heavens. Outside of the arch of the rainbow, is another, not quite as brilliant, but each of the colours are distinct and clearly visible. It seems as if the whole earth is encompassed by the rainbow, and somehow it sheds beautiful coloured light on everything. Far away on the horizon I see dark clouds, menacing clouds, but even as I watch, the clouds are being driven away by a mighty wind. As they are torn apart and disappear over the horizon, the rainbows fade and the sky becomes blue again. All this I saw in my mind's eye.

Lord: You have seen well! What I am showing you is some time away, for there is still much to do, as mankind still clings to the material world of greed and possessions. This world has some more crumbling to do yet and there are still some difficult times ahead. That is why I want all my children to be clothed in the armour I provide, with their swords drawn and ready. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus, and your spiritual ears open to receive my command. Let the battle cry of my people, "Jesus is Lord," be ever ready on their lips. It is more of a rallying call than a battle cry, a call to draw all men to me.

Beyond the difficulties and hardships that lie ahead, I have placed my rainbow. A promise that, for those who hold fast to my word, and keep their eyes upon my Son, there is a time of brightness and joy, a time of reaping and laughter. The vivid colours of the rainbow represent the variety of peoples I am drawing to myself at this time, people from every tribe and nation under heaven. The reflection rainbow shows, that even to the uttermost parts of the earth, I am working in the hearts and lives of the most unlikely people. This harvest is a long one but it is a very important harvest, for this is to be the year of Jubilee, when I set the captives free.

To all my children everywhere, I call you to pray with contrite hearts for your nation. Pray for your leaders. Pray for forgiveness for all the sins of the nations, and ask me to pour out my healing upon the land. Pray for those who are lost in the jungle of sin and greed, that, as even the things they cling to fall away, they will be able to see the gift I am offering them. Pray for the churches and fellowships of the land, that each may be willing and ready to reach out to those around them in love and compassion, sharing the good news, and healing the sick.

My children, when Jesus called Peter to walk upon the water, he did not do it to show how clever he was, but to show that when you turn your eyes to Jesus and keep them fixed upon him, nothing is impossible. No prayer is too difficult for the one who brought all things into being from nothing.

Step out of the boat now, with your eyes upon Him, and let Jesus lead you to the place He wants you to be. I love you.

A Net over the British Isles

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for giving me this new day. Thank you for your love and encouragement and for all the blessings you pour upon us. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us this morning and for walking and talking with us. We love you too.

In these days I am casting my net over all of the British Isles. I have already established fellowships and prayer groups, and have called individuals to pray. I now want these prayer cells, wherever they are, to be aware of each other and to link hands with others as they pray. Each cell is like the knots in the net and each linked hand is a part of the web that makes the net. Close up the holes and establish the links. Do not worry about statements of faith, or likeness of doctrine. I am interested only in my Church becoming an effective net, to draw in the catch and fill the Kingdom. All these cells I am speaking about, love my son Jesus, and are themselves called by His name. Every group has a story to tell of how I work with them. Their stories are as diverse as the number of groups. No two are the same, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Focus on Jesus, pray for the Nation, confess and repent, and receive the forgiveness I give. Lay aside your differences, and offer praise and worship as one. Encourage one another with your faith story, and share with each other all that I am teaching you. Open your hearts to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to develop the gifts I am giving you.

I know you are all busy! I know that some of you feel under pressure, but make time in each day for me. Allow me to start the day for you by topping up your tank, as you pray and read My word. Satisfy your hunger as you spend time with me, and I will fill you with all the gifts you need for each day. Do not be afraid to speak of me to others, for I am putting a hunger in the hearts of many people today, a hunger that needs satisfying now.

For those at University I say this: In all your studies and research, keep a humble approach in all things. Learn what you can, while that avenue is open to you. In all your work remember me, and call upon me to guide and teach you. Let me show you the wonders of the world, and see it all  through my eyes! Whatever your field of study and research, know this: I am you ultimate authority. I know far more than even the most learned experts. Stay close to me and let me teach you and use you, for I have a purpose for you, and have placed you where you are, to glorify me.

To all I say; lift up your eyes from your busy-ness and labours. Lift up your eyes and behold the new day that is dawning. It is the day I have made and in this day I purpose many things. Rise up, men and women of God. Rise up and move forward for the Kingdom. Take up your lantern and shine like a beacon. Clothe yourself with the whole armour of God, move forward as one to destroy the works of darkness and establish the Kingdom of Light. Stand in the Name of Jesus, and let you battle cry be "Jesus is Lord". At that cry, demons and spirits tremble and flee. Jesus is Lord!

Tell them of my love

Lord: The evil in man's heart has grown and the imaginations of his heart have become consumed with filth, as the evil one deceives him, and leads him further down the road to destruction. In the days of Noah I saw the evil of men's hearts and determined to do away with all that I had made. Only my righteous friend Noah and his sons were saved from the destruction. What stays my hand today ,from total destruction, is not one man and his family, but the bride of my son, the Church. The Earth heaves with restlessness, as it waits for me to act. It tries to cleanse itself of such evil, but my hand restrains it.

My children, pray for the Earth which I have made for you. Bless the ground from which you were taken. Thank me for the clean air you breathe and the trees that replenish it each day. Bless the sea in her abundance and the soil bringing forth fruit and food. Pray for her peace, so that during this time you may be able to bless all men. Speak words of peace. Tell of my love and share Jesus. Encourage all men and women everywhere, to hold on to truth, and reject the lies of the false prophets, as they speak soothing words that pamper and condone the lusts and desires of mankind.

Remember the prophet Jeremiah, who lived in very troubled times. He alone delivered my word to Judah, when all the other prophets and priests told lies and offered sacrifices to other gods. They prophesied in my name, that no one would be able to prevail over Jerusalem. But they did not speak my words, so I brought all the disasters upon them, that my faithful servant Jeremiah prophesied against them. Yet, even then I gave them a chance to repent, saying to the King of Judah, "Deal righteously with the poor and the oppressed and turn to me." But they would not listen and scoffed at me.

My children, be true to my word and hold fast to the Gospel of Jesus, for in Jesus, and in him alone, is your salvation. As you pray for the Earth, pray for the leaders of men, pray for people who hold power and influence. Pray especially for those who fight for freedom and justice. They need special prayer, as it is so easy to slip from freedom-fighting into retaliation and oppression. Pray that the good things gained by their struggle will not be lost in the aftermath. Teach all men everywhere to bless and not curse, to heal and not wound, to build and not destroy. Tell them of my love.

Day of Prayer!

Lord: The collapse of the world's monetary systems is the worst in history! I have caused it in order to bring focus back to me. The cause of my wrath is corruption and greed in very high places. No country in the world is excused; all are equally guilty. In Europe, the various financial whiz-kids are frantically trying to find an answer, that will put them back to where they were before the crisis started. This will not be possible, as I shall thwart all their efforts to reinstate the same regime of corruption and greed. There is only one answer, and I am ready to give it, if they would only ask me.

This situation is now worse than any financial meltdown in history and it will deepen! For many months now I have been calling my people to pray. Some have responded and some have not. I have called bishops, moderators, ministers and leaders, to gather their people to pray. Only a very few have responded. 

When war is imminent, or natural disaster strikes, church leaders once called for a day of prayer. Many of the institutional churches are also in a state of financial melt down. My Roman church is morally in a very grave state, because they have not obeyed me, nor have the leaders recognised the crisis for what it is, or called on me for help.

I have called to them all, but I am still waiting for, archbishops, popes, and church leaders, to call their people, and the nations, to prayer for the world situation.

• Where are the days of prayer?
• Where is the holy fast?
• What are my people in places of power doing?

Why did I allow you to be placed in those privileged places? I put you there, so that you could act and bring My wisdom and My answer to these events.

If you do not recognise me and respond to my call, how can I help you? If you continue to bury your head in the sand, I will bury you all so deep there will be no resurrection.

Oh my people, read the signs of the times, open your hearts to me and un-stop your ears. Lift up your eyes, look away from your accounts. Your help does not come through accountants and bankers, and there is no permanent help from the present systems, which are all biased to the rich and unfair to the poor. They are based upon greed!

Look to me the Lord of love. Seek my righteousness and my answer. Only in Jesus will you see the way out.

I did not spare my chosen people Israel when they turned from me, but I handed them over to be chastised by foreign kings. I was hard on them and turned my face from them, because of their iniquity. Only when a remnant was left, did I turn again to them and restore them. Their mission, to be a vehicle of the Good News of the Messiah, I passed on to the church. Many gentiles and those foreign to Israel have carried the torch and spread the gospel. Many have lived lives of poverty and suffering in order that the good news could be passed on to you. If I did not spare them, why should I spare you?

Leave your books of numbers and your laws, which imprison and oppress the poor. Turn your back on people, organisations and nations, that try to suppress my truth. Get on your knees and pray! Put on sackcloth, cover your heads with ashes, confess your sin, and the sin of church and nation, and plead for my forgiveness. Shout this message from the rooftops, that all may hear and turn to me. I am calling you.

"...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land". 2 Chronicles 7:14

Which way Lord?

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day, Thank you for the clear shy and the brilliant stars, and the moon that gives me light to walk the dark path. Thank you for your company and your guidance. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son, welcome to the club this morning. I'm so glad you liked the celestial show I laid on for you this morning. Though the path may be dark, if you always walk with me I shall be a light for you to see and a lantern for your feet. Trust me.

Martin, this time each morning walking with me and spending it in conversation, is very important both for you, for me, and for others as well. I would that all my children would spent a good time with me, uninterrupted and in constant communion with me. Not only do you benefit from this time, but all those for whom you pray benefit as well! I hear all your prayers as you ask them, and you have time to hear my replies. Encourage others to spend time with me.

As you walk with me and begin to rely on me for all your needs, you will begin to see me work in new and wonderful ways. As you encounter forks in the road you are walking, ask me to show you which way to walk. As you meet with opposition, ask me for words to say. As you meet with difficulties, commit each one to me, and let me do the sorting. Let your prayer always be, "Which way Lord?" or "What should I do now Lord?" Then listen, as I instruct you.

If you look at the examples of this in the Bible, you will see that I often said things like, "Assemble and do nothing!" or "Watch me work." Then, as the people watched, I have given them the victory without their needing to lift one hand! Sometimes, indeed often, I will tell you what action to take, and then you will move forward in power. But remember always, the power is mine, not yours, and the action you take is at my command. All glory must be given to me. I am the Lord who guides you. I am the Lord your strength.

I know, and I understand your weaknesses, but it is when you are weak that I am strong. It is when you are low or cast down that I can raise you up. When I raise you up, you can be a strength to the weak and an encouragement to those who are cast down. Remember always that one encouraging word, offered in love, can change a life and save a soul.

Always speak in love, never in hate. Give all your anger to me, and let my love take over and heal the hole that is left. Always be ready to forgive, just as you have, in Jesus, been forgiven. Keep your eyes fixed on me and seek always the Kingdom of Heaven. That is your destination and the place to which I am leading you. A place near to my heart. A place I have prepared for all those who love me. A place where you will be near to me and those whom you love and where you will feel at home. I love you.

Hearing Me: Teaching

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for giving me this new day. Please help me to stay in the centre of your will today. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning Martin. Thank you for joining us this morning and for walking with us. We love you too.

What a cry I hear from my people all over the world! It's a cry from the heart that reaches to the heavens. It is a cry I am ready to answer. The cry comes in many different forms and arises from many situations, but essentially the cry is pleading for the same thing: "How can I hear the voice of God in this situation? How can I shut out the noise of the ungodly and listen to the still small voice?"

In order to hear my voice and to discern what I am saying, I want you to create space for me in your day. How can I talk to you if you keep wandering off doing something else? Apply one simple rule to your day. Give one hour to me uninterrupted. One hour, I hear you cry in desperation, how can I find one hour in my busy day? Let me tell you this, and there is no compromise or other option here, if you are too busy in your day to give me one hour in twenty four, then you are too busy, and need to shed some of the things you are doing, or alternatively get organised! No one, I repeat, no one, in any occupation, should be too busy to have at least one hour to be still before me. So, look at your life, look at your schedule and look at your priorities.

Make time to be still before me. This time of stillness can be an early morning walk, preferably before the busy world wakes up. Talk to me as you walk, and allow your mind to dwell on the things and the people you talk to me about. If it isn't possible or practical for you to walk, then sit in a quiet place. If you have a tendency to fall asleep then sit in a light place. Spend time letting all your concerns and worries flow out to me, pray your prayers and then allow the stillness wash over you. You see, more often than not, people pray to me, but then when they have run out of words they think it's all over, and get up and busy themselves again. I am in the silence after you have spent your prayers. I am in the stillness when words have run out. Stay in that place, wallow in that peace and let the silence soak in. This is the time when your mind and your brain switch over to spiritual mode. This is the time when all the interfaces I built into you engage, and Heaven becomes visible, and you are able to hear divine thoughts. It is essential that you do not run away from this time of stillness.

At first the stillness is quite hard to cope with, because your life is so full of busy-ness and noise. It requires practice, lots of practice! The best time to start learning to live in my presence and hear my voice, is as a child, so as you learn this, teach your children. Starting the day in this way will set you up for the whole day and make every part of the day more fruitful.

Staying in an attitude of prayer, aware of me, let the time of stillness move into a time of listening to the thoughts I drop into your mind. Those thoughts may be related to your prayers, or they may be totally unrelated. Do not be afraid to ask me questions, but be prepared to listen for the answers! I don't always use lots of words to answer your questions. Indeed more often than not, I instil a feeling, a conviction, an assurance that some course of action or some idea is right. People often explain it as, "I just knew it was the right thing to do."

As in most close friendships, I often want to tell you that I love you, and as you grow in your friendship with me, I hope that you too will want to express your love for me. Time spent loving each other is time well spent.

Remember I am God Almighty. What I have to say to my creation is valuable. I do not waste my words! What I say to you, whether personal or prophetical, it is worth recording in some way.

Job 19:24 ...that they were inscribed with an iron tool on lead, or engraved in rock forever!

Isaiah 30:8 Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.

Jeremiah 36:2 "Take a scroll and write on it all the words I have spoken to you concerning Israel, Judah and all the other nations from the time I began speaking to you in the reign of Josiah till now." New International Version ©1984

This writing can be in the form of a diary or a journal, and is best if it records context as well as my words. That is, what you ask, or what caused me to say the words. This is so that as you look back after time, you will remember why we had that conversation.

Do not be afraid of recording everything. As you get used to talking to me and listening it will become easier to discern what is me speaking and what is you. It is always helpful to have someone to share your journal with, who can be a sort of safety valve to guide you back if you do stray. But you will find that that will not happen very often, unless you walk away from me.

Martin, your pattern of walking and praying, then Bible reading of both Old and New Testaments, followed by stillness and journaling, works well for you, because you have time with me, you get in tune with me around my word, then you listen to what I am saying and record it. It works for you because I have chosen to wake you up and lead you into this pattern. Each person has to develop their own pattern to fit their own situation. There are, however, things vital to hearing my voice.

1. Prayerful stillness.
2. Open spiritual ears and eyes.
3. An open Bible.
4. Some method of recording what I say.

All this requires time every day when you won't be distracted or interrupted, when we can just be together to love each other.

In His Service

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for giving me this new day. Thank you for the stars that shine so brightly and for the promise of warm sunshine and another beautiful Autumn day. I Love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning Martin. Thank you for joining us this morning and for your company on our walk.  We love you too.

Walking in the centre of my will is not always being in the front line of battle. As any army advances there are always the support services that work quietly behind the lines feeding, clothing, and dressing the wounds of those engaged on the battle front. Those who work in those support services are just as important as the army itself. As my army advances I to employ the services of untold numbers of support service personnel. These loved ones are right in the centre of my will for them, and I need them to be working as I direct, in order for the work of the kingdom to progress.

I want all my children young and old, male and female, to seek my guidance as to where they should be and what they should be doing. I don't need everyone to be eyes or everyone to be a voice, for there are many other functions the body has to perform. There are also times when even those in the front line have time to sit, eat and take their rest.

Once you were slaves to sin. Sin never gives rest, it is always present and is a harsh taskmaster. But now you are free and belong to me. I require righteousness, but I also pour out my grace. I do not drive my loved ones into the ground, I raise them up and give them strength. Under sin you lived in fear, with me you have joy unspeakable and love freely given.

Do not be discouraged when things go quiet, rest and build up your strength. Feed on my word, encourage one another. Remain watchful and open for I work suddenly and unexpected. There will be times when you feel as though you have been thrown in the swimming pool at the deep end, and there will be times when you are paddling around in the shallows. Stay close to me and you will know what is in my will and when you step out of it. Not all busy-ness is necessarily where I want you to be. Often being busy distracts you and keeps you from the real task. Watch and pray, lest you fall into the temptation to be worldly busy. When I give you busy-ness I will also give you all the tools you need and follow it up with great blessing as the work of the Kingdom progresses.

As you continue along the pathway with me you will find that I lead you into different phases and ministries during your walk. Some are front line some are support, some are working with the young and some with the old. Just because I bless one part of your ministry with great success and then move you into an apparently less active or 'successful' field, doesn't mean you are not where I want you to be. It is a good thing that you are not always aware just how effective you are, else you would become arrogant and proud. One day you will see clearly just what I have done through you, and you will be amazed that the most effective times are the times when you feel low or ineffective.
   
So, stay close to me and let our relationship develop as I guide you. Be content to be who you are and the person I made you. leave the finding of 'work' for you to do in the Kingdom to me. I am the Lord your provider. This way you will find fulfilment and satisfaction. I love you.
