Give Me the Glory

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for your love in caring for us and for your wonderful provision if all we need. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us this morning and spending time with us. We love you so much, providing for you is our pleasure. We Love you.

Over the last three days I have scratched the surface of healing as you requested. There is a great deal more I can tell you, and over the years you will learn more through the experiences that I give you.

As I lead you into opportunities to use this gift and as needs arise, I want you always to remember that supernatural, divine healing, is not performed by magic, and nor does it have to follow special techniques. This is because I am the Healer, not you! You are the channel through which the healing is delivered, but I, through My Holy Spirit, do the work. Therefore is is vital that you stay close to Me and follow My leading. Even when Jesus sent the seventy out in pairs, with instructions to heal and deliver, He remained with them in Spirit, and they knew they must rely on Him. When they returned, they were excited, and told Jesus, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” Luke 10:17. They remained close to Jesus and did all in the name of Jesus. They also gave Him the glory.

There will be, and always are, those who want to give you the credit for My work. This gives you a wonderful opportunity to tell them about me. On many occasions in the ministry of Jesus, speaking about the Kingdom accompanies works of healing. This is why, over the centuries, healing has been practised by the church in the context of worship. It is only since the 'age of enlightenment,' when science took over medicine, that missionaries could only practice healing if they were qualified doctors. This practice is not My will nor My way. Yes, I will use qualified doctors, even in supernatural healing, but only if they stay close to Me, and allow Me to guide them. But My command to go into all the world and to preach, heal and raise the dead was not given to doctors, but to believers, My children. These precious gifts of healing are given by Me, and distributed by My Holy Spirit as He determines. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. 1 Corinthians 12:11.

There are times son, when you will be called upon to tackle needs that are both complex and demonic. Do not be daunted by this. These instances will not come upon you unawares. If you remain constant in prayer, I will give you due warning and instruction on how to handle it. In the cases which do involve demonic intervention, do involve others in the prayer and back-up. There is a twofold reason for this. The prayers of two or more are infinitely more effective that of one person. When you need back up I will provide. Secondly, because of the fears of other Christians about casting out demons, many stay well away and therefore have no first-hand experience of such ministry. Just as you learned as you accompanied Dawson, so I want others to learn as they work alongside you.

The over-riding word to you, when talking about healing is that, "I am the Lord your healer." It is My work. Give Me the glory, and always, yes always, stay very close to Me. This is NOT an, "I'll do this on my own," ministry! I allow my children to be involved and to be used in this way, because I love them, and I love the people who need that healing. Allow Me to love them through you. Be bold, be strong and be very courageous. Do all things in and through the Name of Jesus. I am with you son, I love you.

Stand Up and be Counted!

Lord: Where are the shepherds of my people, and why have they not spoken up, in defence of the oppressed and the poor? Where are my evangelists and preachers, and why is my message being watered down and the truth diluted? Why are you silent, when those who speak against me, and who do not have the truth, rant and rage against my Church? Why do you stand by, and let others steal the gifts I have given my Church?

When the evil spirits cried out against my Son Jesus, he rebuked them, and commanded them to be silent. When he crossed the path of those possessed of evil spirits; he cast them out, and delivered those possessed and oppressed. When the sick and wounded came to him, he healed them, and gave them hope. In the early days of my Church, the people came to listen to the word being faithfully preached, and when the authorities tried to stop them, the apostles said, "You cannot silence us, because God has told us to speak. We must obey Him, not you!" Now it seems that my Church, which carries my special message for the world, is being silenced, out of fear of those who are offended by me!

I did not entrust the good news of Jesus to be stored away, out of sight and mind, and kept for another generation, or more opportune time! I entrusted it to you, to share freely today! I gave you the gifts of My Holy Spirit to enable and empower you to do it well. It now seems that you are being disarmed at the first opposition!

Stand up, men and women of God. Clothe yourselves in the armour I have provided. Take hold of the Sword of the Spirit, and cut your way through the opposition of Satan. Stand firm, and speak of me, to all who will listen. Satan is a defeated foe. I have triumphed over him, and he is now under My feet. Destroy his works; set the captives free. Proclaim the day of the Lord's salvation, and gather in the lost, the lonely, and the oppressed, that they may find true liberty in me.

Children, I have given you the liberty of free speech, in order to proclaim the gospel. No man, no government, no judge and no court, has the right, or the ability to stand against me and take that away from you. Stand by My command to take the good news into ALL the world. Take it to ALL people everywhere. Let no one stand in your way. When your Church leaders fail to stand by the gospel of truth, I will withdraw my Spirit from them. Do not follow them, but stay close to me. Fix your eyes upon Jesus, my beloved Son.

Stand up, and be counted for me, as I muster my army, to march forward and claim the land back.

Speak My Words of Life

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. Thank you for your love poured out upon me and for every blessing you have bestowed on us. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Thank you for joining us this morning and for walking with us. Stay close to me today and be ready for my words.

My Spirit is at work in the world today and the gifts He gives are being used daily by my people. I want all my people to be aware of My Spirit at work and to be there, so that He can use you all as channels of power.

Be wary of those who do not acknowledge the Holy Spirit or who attribute His work to 'natural' forces. There are even those, some in high esteem, who say that the outworking of My Spirit is only delusion and that those who manifest the Spirit are sick. Stand fast in your faith and remain open to My Spirit at work in you, for the days are now upon you when those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit will be denounced by your Father in Heaven. Keep your eyes fixed upon Jesus and walk in the way I have appointed for you. Do not waver either to the right or to the left, but walk in my way. When you are ridiculed by men, do not answer back but allow the Spirit to vindicate you. No one who acknowledges me before men will ever be put to shame, for I am with them.

Walk in righteousness and truth. Sing as you walk of the wonderful works of God. Let your voices be lifted to the heavens and join with the angels and all those who worship before the throne of God.

Children I want you to seek my kingdom and my righteousness. Learn how to use the gifts that I have bestowed upon you through my Spirit. Do not be afraid of stepping out in faith as you lay hands on the sick, or pray for the needy. I see what is in the heart and I stand by my words. You never have to justify what I say, for my words are the words of life and it is through my word that life on earth is sustained.

Mankind does not sustain life, and he has clearly shown that he is incapable of even carrying out my simple command to him, to look after the creation I have made. Fortunately for mankind I maintain all that I have created, and have limited man's ability to destroy all life.

Your task this day is to counter the hatred and destruction of the Evil One, and of sinful man, using the greatest gift of all, Love. I want you to show love to all people. Love the unlovely. Love the hurting and the sick. Love those who are lost and those who despair. Let my Holy Spirit teach you to love in new and practical ways. I want you to love even those who hate you, and do good to them. Counter the negative with the positive and speak the words of life I give you.

When you encounter anger today, counter it with peace. When you encounter hatred, pour out a blessing. When you see someone wronged, speak out and strengthen them. Use all the spiritual armour I have provided for you and destroy the works of the devil. Know this, I am with you and I love you.

The Gifts of My Spirit

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new and beautiful morning. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning Martin. Welcome to the 5 O'clock Club this morning and thank you for joining us on our tour of the estate. We love you too.

I want you all to get to know My Spirit, for in the days to come you are going to need My Spirit with you all the time, working closely with you, and directing your pathway. It is through My Spirit that you are able to take up the battle cry Jesus is Lord! Let My Spirit be in your speaking. Commit every word you say to me and let My Spirit put the words into your mouths. As you allow the Spirit to speak through you, you will begin to notice the prophetic nature of your words. It is the prophetic word, the word from me, that will break down the barriers the Evil One has built up, that keep the children of men from hearing me speak to them. The prophetic word will smash through those barriers and speak comfort to those who tremble and are afraid.

It is My Spirit who gives you all the gifts and tools that you need in ministry. It is My Spirit who equips you to walk the Christian walk. Out of my store house He gives the very latest and most advanced tools to help you break down the works of the Evil One, and build up and strengthen the faint hearted.

It is through My Spirit that I dispense wisdom and knowledge. Notice how I group those two gifts together! Wisdom gives you the ability to use knowledge and to discern truth. When mankind stretched out his hand and took the fruit of the tree of knowledge, he acted without wisdom. Wisdom helps you to use and understand knowledge. The gifts that I give through My Spirit are very special and the wisdom I give is not worldly wisdom, but divine. Into a specific situation I will drop a word of wisdom or a work of knowledge. Use them carefully and in a timely way. By that I mean use them when I direct. Speak into the appropriate moment, for my words are spoken into the 'now!' An undue delay can mean that the word loses its power, because the moment has passed. So exercise wisdom as you speak the word of knowledge.

My Spirit also distributes the gift of faith. Now here I am not speaking of the faith to believe in Jesus, although that is also given by me. No, this is a specific gift, given by My Spirit to those who already believe in me. It gives to the receiver the ability to hold on and believe for, the things he cannot see, the things others hold as impossible. That is why I am linking faith with  gifts of healing. One of the reasons the church does not see as much healing as I want to perform, is that it lacks the faith to ask! I want all my children to have the faith to ask me, and to believe that I hear every prayer, for it is when the church believes that I am Almighty, that miracles and healing follow.

Healing is a special gift. Those who deliver the gift of healing exercise faith, while not being the recipient. The gift is specifically for another, the one who needs healing. It is wrong to think of one person as a healer. Jesus is the healer, the Holy Spirit is the bearer of the gift, and one with faith delivers it. Sometimes it requires faith on the part of the receiver, but that is unusual. The main requirement of the one to be healed is that they are open to the love offered as the gift is given.

The ability to speak in other tongues and to interpret them is also a gift of My Spirit. Once again this should not be confused with the natural ability to speak in foreign languages. Speaking in tongues is directly related to speaking My Word. It may be used in prayer, or to deliver prophecy or wisdom, or on rare occasions it may be used to preach to a congregation who speak a different language. The gift of interpretation is specific to prayers and words given in tongues, and is not just the ability to translate other languages.

I want to deal lastly with distinguishing between spirits. The western world has largely ignored the spiritual realm for so long now, that it has forgotten that there is a battle going on all the time between good and evil. This battle takes place in the spiritual realm, because there are spirits of evil as well as the Spirit of God. Many things are spoken and done, not by the Spirit of God, but by the Spirit of Darkness. He can be very hard to distinguish because so much of what he says is lies that tickle the fancy. Some of his lies are what people think they want to hear. Distinguishing  the spirits is therefore a vital tool for all believers. When a voice inside you says, "Hey, hang on, that doesn't feel right," that is the moment to stop and re-evaluate the situation. You may think that sounds like conscience. Well it is. I put man's conscience there in the first place when I breathed into him the breath of life, so the God shaped bit of man responds to the gift of My Spirit.

In the coming months as I work in the world, all the gifts which My Spirit has distributed amongst believers will be needed. Accept them thankfully and learn from me how to use them. They all require an element of faith to use, but I have already supplied you with enough to use what I am giving. Be bold be strong, and be courageous. I am with you, Jesus is with you, the Holy Spirit is with you. We love you.

My Spirit Filled Church

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new and beautiful day. I am so sorry when I fall short of the standard you have set. Please help me each day to grow more like Jesus and be nearer to you. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son, Thank you for spending time with us this morning. We know your shortcomings and we are working all the time to help you, because we love you.

Remember your journaling can be about anything and everything we talk about. Even that which seems personal and private for you today is worth recording, so that when I have resolved it you can be encouraged and built up by the record of it. Not everything you record is necessarily for public consumption. A lot of our conversation is personal and private but it is always helpful to record it. A lot of St Paul's writing was to an errant Church. Most of those Church members would be horrified to think that every generation down the last 2000 years has read about their mistakes, but what a blessing it has been to my children. Let me be your guide.

Having someone to read through what we share together is good. It is good for the reader, and feedback is also helpful to you. I am pleased that when issues and questions have come up regarding what I have said, you have later questioned me and I have been able to clarify it for you.

Never underestimate the gifts I have given you. My Spirit knows you better than you know yourself, and distributes the gifts of the Spirit in the best possible way. If you have a gift of reading and understanding my Word then I want you to read it, understand it and share it with others. If you have the gift of empathy and feel the hurts and pains of others pray fervently for them. If you have wisdom beyond your age or discernment to recognise what is of me and what is not of me, then use those gifts as I direct.

Always be aware that you do not have all the gifts. My Spirit distributes the gifts around the Church so that all will benefit and grow. The Church is seriously in error when it expects one man or woman (the minister or priest) to be in possession of all the necessary gifts. My Church is a fellowship of believers, all of whom I have equipped for ministry. Recognise the gifts in each other, and rejoice to support each other and be fed and equipped by all the gifts as I distribute them. Never say, "I don't have this or that gift!" The Spirit often gives a gift to someone who has never manifested that gift before, because they are the person who is there and able to be a blessing at that moment. To be a prophet one day does not mean that all prophecy will be delivered by you at all times. To be used to deliver my gift of healing to a sick person does not make you the only healer. I would that all would use the gifts I give, all the time. They are not to be hogged, or guarded or made exclusive.They are distributed by the Spirit as and when they are needed. Be open to My Spirit and ready to be used, or to encourage others as My Spirit uses them.

When teaching and blessing young people, give them space to grow into the gifts and ministries I have for them. Do not despise their youth, or fear their mistakes. They will make mistakes just as you have. However, just as you have leaned by your mistakes, so will they. I am able to cover all they do so that no one is hurt or kept out of the kingdom. Indeed I will use their mistakes to glorify my name.

Remember that undergirding all the ministries of My Church, must be prayer. The prayers of righteous men and women work many miracles. This ministry may not be upfront or clearly seen by all, but it is essential and all prayer warriors should be kept informed and appreciated. Without their prayers the Church would be impoverished.

Watch out this week for the signs of My Spirit working. When you see those signs, rejoice and be glad and remember to journal them, that they may be an encouragement in the months ahead. I love you.

Action

Me: Good morning Lord. Thank you for waking me this morning and for this new day. I love you Lord.

Lord: Good morning son. Your welcome. As you know, I love walking with you in the mornings. We love you very much.

I was with you in your broken shoe this morning. It was a parable. Read again Ephesians 6:10 -17 especially verse 15.

Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

I spoke yesterday about HRA. The last being "Action", and it is this I want to focus on today.

Action
There is a great deal of difference between rushing in and doing what you think, or even know, I want you to be doing, and being ready! Being ready for action is to be like a well trained soldier, who knows his equipment and weapons, and, more importantly, knows how to use them. I want my front-line solders in the cause of the gospel, to be well equipped and well trained and ready for action. Just as you received training, through those years spent working alongside Dawson in "The Group", so I want my new and young soldiers to have the opportunity of being alongside others in the Church, who are experienced and wise in the my ways.

Of course I shall also give them my own form of training, and others will watch in both wonder and horror, as they rush into situations that the more cautious would not dream of engaging!  But the important thing to learn is that I am the supplier of the Spiritual Gifts, which is the equipment, and I also wrote the manual and determine the terms of engagement. So the most important rule is to look to me for instruction each day in prayer, and to remain in contact throughout the day and listen all the time for my word of instruction. The Gospel stands on its own and doesn't need defending, only proclaiming. My command to the Church is to proclaim the Gospel wherever you go. I want you to do it with boldness and clarity. Many of the places you go to will require every piece of the armour I provide to dress well, and for you to be ready with my word and my gifts to do the work and fulfil the mission I send you on. I love you.

Hearing, Reflection and Action

Lord: I still have many things to say to the church, but they cannot bear it all now. I want the full number of people to hear what I have declared already and to absorb it.

As with all teaching and learning I want my people to practice HRA.

Hearing
The first thing is to hear what I have to say. But hearing is more than just being present while I am speaking. Hearing is taking in the word so that it becomes a part of you. In the past I encouraged believers to learn my word by heart, that is to read it over and over again. This way it becomes integrated into your whole being. I still want you to read my word and make it part of yourself, but I also want you to listen when I speak to you, and hear with your spiritual ears what I am saying to you.

Reflection
The second stage is to to reflect on what I say to you. Reflection requires an open mind and for you to engage the left side of your brain. By that, I mean to follow where the thoughts I give you lead. Don't worry about analysing every word and full stop, but follow the thoughts where they lead. This is like standing back and taking in the whole picture, rather than the detail. Reflection can take a moment or it can take a month, the secret it to let me guide you. Reflect in a prayerful state of mind. Set a wall of protection around you so that Satan doesn't distract you, and ponder. Compare what I say to you with what I have said in the past through scripture, and learn from the wider picture. Think upon the implications and commitment required. Place it into the concept of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Reflect upon my love and generosity, and fill your heart and voice with praise.

Action
The final stage is to act upon my command. Sometimes, and I will tell you when I want you to act immediately without reflection. Some words to you are both immediate and urgent. But generally when I speak to my people, I want them to hear, and reflect, so that when they act they are not like a loose cannon firing an ineffective shot. Action following reflection can be focused and made with confidence.

HRA can best be practised together in groups, as I want my church to function as a body, with every member at one with another. As with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, though they are given to individuals, they are for the benefit of the whole body of Christ, and should be practised within that body. The prophetic word is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and should also be declared as I direct to the whole church. There are obviously individual words for certain people that are not for general consumption, but they are not the rule and should be delivered and acted upon as I direct.

At this moment in history, the purpose of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is for the advancement of the Kingdom of Heaven, the growth and wellbeing of my Church, which I love.

Gifted Children for Me

Do not be afraid to call on me at any time during the day or the night. I never sleep, and I always give priority to my children whom I love.

You can ask me anything. Whatever field or profession, whatever interest or concern, I want my children to ask me about their important issues. Just as I have shown you how to do the renovation work on 444, so I want all my children to embark on this great adventure to discovery.

There are some things you can discover from books and from the research of others, however there is still much to be discovered, and so many things that mankind has speculated about. But because he insists on ignoring me, he has so often got them wrong. I want you to know the truth about my creation. That is why I made it, for you to discover and enjoy. However the only path to discovering its complexity, is to approach it with an open mind, and with no pre-fixed agenda, or preconceived ideas. Allow me to teach you.

'Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.' Matt. 7.7.

This applies to the mundane daily tasks from using recipes for cooking the evening meal, to finding cures for the incurable illnesses that plague mankind. I want to unlock the hidden potential in all my children. The potential to write, sing, compose, discover, study, speak and all the myriad other things locked up inside of you. All you have to do is ask me.

When I gave the precious gifts of the Spirit at Pentecost it was only the beginning, to help the church to grow. My chosen people were a gifted group who, even in exile, rose to positions of high favour, because of the knowledge I gave them. When I anointed Joseph, Daniel, and many others, it seemed to the worldly powers of the day, to be like super-natural gifts. In fact it was the natural power of My kingdom. I want all my children, all whom I have called by my name to be 'gifted', and to use the powers and gifts I have made available to them.

So encourage one another to to seek me and to ask the questions that are burning on your hearts. Sometimes you may asks questions that you are not yet ready to fully understand. In those cases I will answer the request by guiding you to the next step in understanding, and from there to the next etc. until you are ready to take in the full truth. I do not withhold knowledge from you. But its pursuit must be through me, otherwise you will find yourself swallowing all the lies the evil one is spreading in your day. Be open and receptive to the answers I give you, because I love you.

A New Boldness

Lord:    Over the coming months you will witness an increase in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially the lesser used gifts. Some of these manifestations will have a high public profile, and there will be attempts to ridicule them. However my work is my own responsibility, and no one will need to defend me. I shall confound the so called 'wise' of this age, and reveal my wisdom in a way which will make the wisdom of the world look as small and insignificant, as indeed it is. Watch out for my Spirit working and rejoice when you see it. Pray for those who you see being used by me, and bless them.

Boldness
At this time I require my Church to recover the boldness it enjoyed in the first days after Pentecost. The boldness to speak about me, without embarrassment. The boldness to call upon my name as you pray for healing, deliverance and guidance. The boldness to use the higher gifts of prophecy, knowledge and discernment. Boldness to preach and teach the true good news in its completeness. The boldness to believe me and trust me, even when the odds seem stacked against you.

Without being argumentative, I want my Church to speak out for the truth and to hold on to my higher standards. Do not compromise the truth. If you are in doubt about what is truth, then know this: My Word always stands.

Encourage the regular reading of My Word. The Bible must be read with an open mind. By that I mean open to Me. There is a lot in the Bible that seems like a mystery, some of it even offends  modern delicate western sensitivity. Read it with simple acceptance and pray for understanding. Do not struggle with truth. I long to tell my people what they want to know but they either don't ask me, or they don't accept what I am telling them. Be open to my spoken word to you. Yes, I do speak directly to all my children who are open to hear my voice. Encourage them to listen and show them how to hear my voice.

I said that you would be seeing an increase in the manifestation of spiritual gifts. Be prepared also to receive and use the many gifts I have given you. Yes all of you! All who receive my Son as their saviour, are able to receive my Spirit, and therefore to be equipped with all the gifts they need. Remember the gifts of the Spirit are not some sort of status symbol; they are articles of equipment for the soldier to use as he goes about his business. I delight in pouring out my Spirit on all who will be open channels. However, I cannot flow through channels that are blocked by unbelief, sin and prejudice. These need to be dealt with, so bring them to me in prayer.

Eyes and Ears of the Spirit

This one is for my Church. Share it.

Yesterday I talked to you about trust, this morning I want to talk about using your gifts especially the gift of sight and hearing. Yes, both are gifts I have given you! you have two sorts of sight and hearing. You can see and hear the world around you with your eyes and ears, and both those organs have multiple uses. The ear can listen out for an unseen danger or can listen with delight at beautiful sounds and music. The eye beholds beauty and can be used to search out and find. It can detect the merest flicker or movement and thus warn of danger. Both can be used for communication and understanding. But in order to benefit from having eyes and ears you must practice and use them. So from a very early age children learn to look and see, to listen and to hear.

When I made man in the very beginning, I made him body, mind and spirit. His eye and ear organs relate to his body and mind, enabling him to live in, and relate to, the world around him. I also equipped him with an inner eye and inner ears. These relate to the spiritual world of which he is also a part. Just as it is important for a man to use his eyes and ears to get around in the world and to communicate with his fellow travellers, so it is important that man learns to use his spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear what is going on in the heavenly places. When I communicate with man through visions and prophecy, I don't use the physical eyes and ears; I use his spiritual eyes and ears. Many people I speak to, and show visions to, do not fully understand what they are seeing and hearing, because they are unaware of this other facility I have built in to them. That is why I find these times in the early hours with you so fruitful. You are wide awake but are not distracted by sounds and sight so you can concentrate on the inner eye and the inner ear. I long for all my children, both young and old, to listen with their inner ear and hear me speaking to them, and to look with their inner vision and describe what they see. For I long for my Church worldwide, to become a visionary, prophetic church that can speak My Word, and share My vision with a world, that has been fooled by the evil one into shutting me out. For too long now the churches have been the blind and deaf, leading the blind and the deaf! I long for My body on earth to be good listeners and visionary.

As you have discovered over the past year, my voice is plain to hear, and with your inner eye, you can see truths hitherto kept from you. You are learning to look and to see, to listen and to hear. I have shown you how, and explained ways to exercise these gifts, Now share it with others, so they too, may look and see, listen and hear, and so come to know the voice of God.

Keep Jesus, My living word, at the centre, focus on Him and allow him to speak to you. Hear Him as he cries out to all people, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear. He who has eyes to see let him see." Listen with open ears and eyes to the word of my prophet Isaiah chapter 42 verses 14 - 17:

For a long time I have kept silent, I have been quiet and held myself back. But now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant. I will lay waste the mountains and hills and dry up all their vegetation; I will turn rivers into islands and dry up the pools. I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. But those who trust in idols, who say to images, 'You are our gods,' will be turned back in utter shame.

Open your eyes to me, and your ears to hear. Trust me, and I will lead you down paths unfamiliar to you, and I will turn the darkness into light before you. Through the rough places, I will make a smooth path for you to walk, and I will guide you, because you trust in me.

I formed you out of the clay of the earth, and it will be I, who redeem you, and call you by your name. I will call you and say "You are mine, and I love you."

Waiting on God

Me: Good Morning Father. Good Morning Jesus. Good Morning Holy Spirit. Thank you for inviting me to join you this morning and for waking me. I do love you, help me to love your more.

Trinity: Good morning Martin, thank you for responding to the invitation and for your praise and worship. We love you.

Lord: I want to speak to my people this morning about commitment and obedience to me. This is a sensitive subject for many of my own people still value, and think they own, the right to 'do their own thing". In the 21st chapter of the Gospel of John, we have an example of men doing their own thing, and it coming to nothing. Then, when they obey a simple command from Jesus, they succeed.

John 21.1-6

Jesus and the Miraculous Catch of Fish

Afterwards Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Tiberias. It happened this way: Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together. I'm going out to fish, Simon Peter told them, and they said, We'll go with you. So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realise that it was Jesus.

He called out to them, Friends, haven't you any fish?

No, they answered.

He said, Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some. When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Jesus: These were men who had spent three years very close to Me They knew My ways and had already begun to learn that they needed Me. They had just begun to grasp the truth that, they could do nothing in their own strength. But they had taken a real bashing over the previous week. Watching Me die on the Cross, had nearly blown their minds. Dear Peter, especially, had felt the loss, and was feeling very bruised. There was a lot of self recrimination in his heart. He blamed himself and he hated himself for appearing, in his own eyes, to be a coward. He was not a coward at all; he was a man trying to live in his own strength. However he learned this basic lesson 'Apart from me, you can do nothing' (John 15.5).

Lord: Yes, If you want to be doing My will, you have to rely on Me, for the wherewithal to do it. First of all you need the command from Me to go! Peter always found waiting hard. Waiting on Me is a vital part of doing My will. Like so many, who are men of action, Peter felt he needed some occupation to satisfy his restlessness. When he decided to go fishing, all the other disciples with him, who all felt the same frustration, followed his lead. I laugh, when I think how easy it was for me to cause the fish to avoid his net! This of course added to Peter's frustration, and his zeal to beat the sea increased! Being a very experienced fisherman, he knew it was the perfect night for fishing. Yet, the more he tried the more frustrated he got. The conditions were perfect. The season was right. He did have all the right gear, and the expertise. The only thing he lacked was success!

Jesus: Then I chose to appear to them. I was actually there all the time, even before they launched, but their restlessness hid me from their eyes. One thing their hard labour had done for them, was to exhaust the restlessness from them. They were all ready for their beds as they neared the shore. I was actually laughing when I called out to them, "Have you caught anything". Peter was cross, until I gave him a command. Self had been reduced to nothing, and he was more open at that moment, than he had been an hour previously. He couldn't see what I saw. As he cast the net for the last time, I could see Spirit doing, what looked like a dance, as he herded the fish into the net. He was obviously enjoying the task!

Lord: It was John who first recognised what was happening, and that it was Jesus on the shore. But it was Peter who had to run to Jesus, for it was Peter who had found it so hard to wait, and needed so much to hold on to Jesus.

Jesus: So many of you, my dear children, are struggling in your own strength to do what you think is my will, and it often is my will. But you are trying to do it on your own, without allowing me to show you how.

Peter, Andrew, James and John, all knew about fishing, and didn't need me to show them their job. What they didn't know, was what I had in mind for their skills. The Holy Spirit has distributed many amazing gifts among my people. Gifts which, in the right hands and in the right circumstances, are powerful tools for the kingdom. The Father has the overall plan in his mind. He knows where his people are, and the gifts they have. He knows where the need is, and how best to deal with it. What we want, is for all those, graced with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, to wait on us, for guidance and instruction in how to use the gifts, and when to use them. When Peter acted on my command, the net caught the maximum number of fishes, and it did not break!

Lord: In the coming times of revival, I want my church to be watching and waiting in my presence. I have Angels constantly waiting around my throne, ready to respond immediately to my command. I want my Church to be thus ready. By waiting and watching in my presence, you will find fulfilment and satisfaction. That fulfilment will be complete, as you respond to my command, and feel the real power of the Holy Spirit flowing through you, to accomplish My will.

Jesus: Waiting on the Father is one of the hardest lessons for man to learn, but once learnt, is the key to being where God wants you to be. Wait, watch and pray.

Dreams and Visions

Lord: Have you noticed, as you read the scriptures, even the hard passages, how I put pictures into your mind. All scripture is pictures, and your speaking and teaching is most effective when you use pictures. Visions or pictures bring light and colour to your mind as well as understanding. There are several things I want to say about visions.

Wait with them. Expect my word to conjure up pictures for you. As you read the Word or as you listen to me speak, let the pictures form in your mind and be displayed on the screen of your inner eye. Gaze on it, study it and recall it, so that its meaning can dawn on you. Vision and pictures are a common part of the learning process for children, but for some reason it is not thought appropriate for adults, who are encouraged to think in abstract thoughts and words. Adults also think using pictures, and behind every great writing is a picture. Make pictures in your mind's eye part of everyday life. Learn to read the picture, in the same way you take in any scene in life. Ask yourself what is happening in this picture, who is there and what are they doing. Draw your first conclusion from the obvious, then look at the detail, and see if that changes the meaning. If the meaning or the reason for the picture is unclear, then prayerfully ask for clearer vision or clarification. I give visions because I want you to understand something, or to hear what I am saying. If you don't see what it means, I will give you another vision. Those who focus on me and see their visions as coming from me, will learn to read them and understand them.

As you look at the pictures and begin to see what they are about, ask yourself two questions:

Does this picture apply to me? And if so how?

Does this picture apply to others or more generally? If so,to whom, and how?

Visions and pictures are, at some point, to share. When others hear about your vision their mind's eye also catches the light and sees the detail. It is good to share visions and pictures with other believers, so that they, prayerfully, can test out your interpretation and perhaps add to it. When others share their pictures with you, do not dismiss them but treat them as from me, and wait on the meaning until it is fully understood. Write them down or record them in some way.

In the coming months and years I am going to use the visual gifts more and more in revealing truth to my people. It will be both an encouragement to the believer, and a sign for the unbeliever.

The visionary and the dreamer of dreams are as important to the church as any other ministry, and should be prayerfully encouraged and listened to. I am already speaking to others about dreams and visions, as I am speaking to you about prophecy and preaching.

This sort of inspired sight should not be watered down or confused with people who are full of good ideas. Those gifts are good also, but are more a natural gift of seeing possibilities, and are the product of an active alert mind, not necessarily me speaking to the Church.

Where I give vision, I also give understanding. Sometimes it is important that the interpretation and understanding comes from another person, as with the gift of tongues, where one speaks and another interprets. This is not however a rule! Many of my visionaries understand and interpret themselves.

Be always open for the many ways I am speaking and teaching my people in these days, for I am doing a new work in your land. I am mobilising a might army and equipping them for action. Prayer warriors awake, Soldiers of Christ arise, Prophets listen and speak as the Lord leads, Visionaries and Dreamers open the eyes of your spirit and let me show you. My church must be ready to move when they hear My battle cry, Jesus is Lord!

Like a Bride adorned for her Husband

Lord: Your God is a great big God. He is not confined to wood metal or stone, like the thousands of idols most of the world worshipped, and still do. The Bible doesn't always fully express the delight and thrill I, the Lord your God, take in the creation I have made. When I made the earth, formed the land, and filled it with every living thing, I delighted in everything I made. I enjoyed making it perfect, and as I laughed and sang, creation began to sing with me. My breath caused the wind to blow, the trees began to dance in the wind. The birds soared on the thermals, swooping to the earth in the first formation dance ever. The animals of the field looked up from their grazing and joined their voices to the choir, why even the stars sang in their heavenly pathways, rejoicing with me, and sharing in my joy.

Throughout the Bible you will catch glimpses of this delight I feel in my creation, and of the great love I have for all things and all people. In Isaiah 62, I was rejoicing in my people whom I formed. I selected them and drew them apart. To show you the delight I feel in you, I had to use pictures that you can relate to, so I used the intimate picture of, the delight a young man feels in his new bride. That is the delight, I feel in you, when your righteousness shines like a bright light. A bride flourishes and blossoms in the love of her husband, you too can flower like a perfect rose, in the love and adoration I feel for you.

So great is my love for you, that I have allowed my Holy Spirit to dwell in you. My Spirit tunes you into, the things of heaven. He provides you with spiritual gifts beyond any natural human gifts. These are my wedding presents, to my bride, the Church. Wear these gifts that I give you and value them, like a bride values the ring on her finger, the symbol of oneness with her husband. Recognise the gifts I have given to each member of the body, encourage their use and their growth, for these gifts are not for your pleasure alone, but for the Church to grow and be effective. As my bride, the Church, uses the gifts I have given you, and you shall be like a young woman adorning herself with beautiful fragrances, and making herself beautiful for her husband. I laugh, and I shout for joy, when I see my church thus clothed.

When Jesus, my beloved son, visited his mother in Cana, they went together to a family wedding. In the first public miracle he performed, Jesus showed them, how much I care about every detail. Wine is provided as a sign of celebration and joy. It is also a sign of love, and the wine flowing at a wedding helps all the guests to enter into the celebration and joy of the young couple. For the wine to run out when things were in full flood, was not only a disgrace to the family, but would be seen as a disaster for the couples relationship with each other. By turning the water, some 160 gallons of it, into the finest wine available, I showed how much I love and value them, and in turn, how much I value you.

I am the bridegroom, and you my beloved church, are my bride. I love you more than any groom ever loved his bride. I take great delight in you, for you bring joy and laughter into my house, and I want the very best for you. Do not be afraid to explore, use and delight, in the many spiritual gifts I have poured out on you. They are given that you may be used to help heal our broken and hurting family. I came into the world to bring life. I came to heal and to save my broken world. I have defeated the evil one, and we are now doing a mop up operation to bring home our wounded children.

As I delight in you my beloved, delight in me, and in the work we do together.
